Vera Playa is 5km away, with Mojacar Playa and Garrucha just 7 km away offering white beaches and plenty of restaurants and nightlife. Just inland is the Sierra Nevada which includes 'Mini-hollywood' among its attractions. Granada and Almeria are within easy reach for families hoping to explore the 'real' Spain.
For the golfer the Valle del este course offers a real challenge (discounted green fees available), as does the nearby Desert Springs and Marina Golf courses.
