Vacation Rental Description
This modern, stylish and comfortable apartment is situated on the exclusive Al Andalus Thalassa complex, which is a private family-friendly site. It is on the fourth floor (for which there is excellent lift access) with superb views for sitting on the terrace watching the sunset over the Med! The apartment is extremely well-equipped with all mod-cons and all towels and bed-linen are provided.
The kitchen has the usual facilities: dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, ceramic hob and you'll find that extra plates, cutlery and glasses are also provided for those who like to entertain...there are even vases for flowers!!
There is a spacious dining area and the lounge is very comfortable with a large sofa and two large armchairs and a selection of lamps and coffee tables. There is an LCD TV, English SKY and DVD player, you'll also find a selection of books and DVD's. The lounge leads onto the covered outdoor terrace, with table and chairs for outdoor dining.
The bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and extra storage, the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, a heated towel rail and a hair dryer. The main bedroom also leads out onto the covered terrace where you can enjoy breakfast with a sea view!
The second bedroom has twin beds and an amazing view of the mountains behind the apartment. The second bathroom has a shower and a heated towel rail.
The complex has a fantastic indoor pool with spa facilities including minigym and jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. There are two outdoor pools with spacious gardens for sunbathing. For the more active holidaymaker there are two tennis courts (we have rackets and balls in the apartment) and a paddle tennis court. For the little ones there are three children's play areas. There are also beautiful water features and private underground parking.
It is less than 2km to the beach at Vera. Mojacar and San Juan De Los Terreros beaches are a 15 minute drive and Golf at Desert Springs, Val Del Este, Marina Golf and Cortijo Grande are within 20 mins. An amazing Water Park can be seen from the apartment and there are also various fantastic restaurants and bars up and down the coast!

As owners we use the apartment so it is "home from home" and equipped with everything for an enjoyable holiday at any time of the year!
There is air-conditioning and heating, LCD TV, English SKY channels and DVD player and a selection of DVD's and books.
In the kitchen there is a washing machine and dishwasher, ceramic hob and microwave, all types of crockery, glassware and utensils.
The bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and extra storage,the bathrooms have heated towel rails and a hair dryer.

Vera is an historic town, only 2km away, with shops and restaurants and a large weekly market it has something for everyone! Vera Playa has a beautiful sandy beach with friendly bars and restaurants.
For families, the nearby Water park is excellent and as our guest we offer the use of our discount card giving you discount here and at many other attractions, shops and restaurants.
The nearby town of Mojacar, a lovely typically Spanish white hill-top town (which can be seen from the terrace) has many shops, restaurants and cafés with stunning panoramic views. The beach at Mojacar offers various activities and there are many "chiringuitas" (beach bars/restaurants) to stop at and sample the local delights! There are also children's play areas on most beaches. Go-karting and cycling are also close-by.
For golfers there are 4 fantastic courses within a 20 min drive - Desert Springs, Valle del Este, Marina Golf and Cortijo Grande.

- Travel Info: You can fly into Almeria (approx.45mins by car), or Murcia (approx.1 hr) or Alicante (approx.1 and half hrs). The road network is excellent with very little traffic.

Al Andalus Thalassa is in a beautiful location. The local sandy beach of Vera Playa is relaxing and yet with many amenities close by.
Within a short drive you can experience many historical places full of typical Spanish charm. The region of Andalusia is relatively unspoilt and although it caters well for tourists with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants, it is possible to get a feel for the real Spain.
This coastline is stunning, the deep blue of the Mediterranean and the golden palm-lined beaches against the backdrop of the crisp, white buildings creates a picture postcard location.
About half an hour along the coast you can find the Cabo de Gata National Park, with its secluded beaches and winding roads through the mountains, where you can see the most breathtaking views. In addition to all of this, the weather in this part of Spain is excellent. With over 300 days of sunshine a year its easy to enjoy such a beautiful place
