Vacation Rental Description
This contemporary 2 bedroomed apartment is situated in the quieter residential part of El Toyo, Retamar and is set amongst landscaped gardens with palm trees and secured shared pool. The apartment offers spacious and light accommodation with modern furnishings throughout and has air-conditioning/heating making it suitable for all year round letting. The apartment has a large open plan living and dining area which has LCD TV, with UK Satellite channels and patio doors leading onto a sunny balcony with table and chairs and overlooking the communal swimming pool. The kitchen is fully fitted with ample storage and cupboard space and is well equipped with china and utensils. There is a separate utility room off the kitchen with washing machine and basin.
The master bedroom has a king size bed with french doors leading onto a 2nd sunny balcony with table and chairs and views towards the sea. The second bedroom has twin beds and both bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes.
There are two modern bathrooms, one ensuite with bath and overhead shower, basin and wc and another with a shower cubicle, basin and wc.
The complex benefits from electronic gated entrances and the apartment is on the first floor with stairs and a lift (with easy access from the secure underground car park)
The apartment is on the perimeter of El Toyo with extensive green areas, cycle paths, childrens play parks and the magnificient Alborian 18 hole championship golf course all within walking distance.
Facilities
The LCD TV in the lounge has UK Satellite channels along with a CD/DVD machine. There is a double sofa bed in the lounge and the dining area seats 6 people The kitchen is fully fitted with oven, hob, fridge/frezzer, kettle and a toaster. The utility room also has a washing machine and basin An iron,ironing board and clothes airer are available along with a hairdryer A travel cot and buggy are available on request There are also golf clubs available for use
Activities
Almeria is the warmest driest city in Europe with an average of 320 days of annual sunshine making it a great winter break as well as a fantastic summer holiday. Retamar Sur is a quiet and very spanish resort conveniently located to the airport and the city. There is 15km of regenerated beach sweeping towards the Cabo de Gata Natural park and its mountains and a spectacular wooden promenade There are a number of good quality restaurants, bars and supermarkets.
Within the natural park there are numerous unspoiled beaches and San Jose is 20 minutes drive away with its spectacular beaches of Genoveses and Monsul as seen in many Hollywood films.
The lively historial city of Almeria is around 15 minutes drive away bursting with shops, cafes, tapas bars and many historal sights to see.
Granada and the famous Alhambra Palace is around 2 hours drive away as well as the ski resort in the Sierra Nevada

There is no fixed changeover day The price includes air con/heating Bedding and towels for the number of guests booked into the apartment will be provided. Guests should bring their own beach towels A deposit of 25% of the total rental is payable upon reservation. The balance is due 8 weeks before the rental begins A good housekeeping deposit of £200 is payable at the time the rental payment is due and this will be refunded within 2 weeks following satisfactory inspection and cleaning of the apartment. £50 will be added to the final payment for a clean/laundry at the end of the rental. Prices may be subject to change at the owners discretion Cancellations made less than 12 weeks before the rental period will be refunded 50% of the deposit and cancellations made less than 8 weeks before the rental period will forfeit their deposit
