2 Bedroom Villa in Mojacar

A recently renovated and spacious villa nestled in the heart of El Pinar village, with breath taking sea and mountain views. There is approx 200m of terracing surrounding a 10m x 5m private pool, including a large covered dining area, sunken seating area, large Outback gas BBQ and pool bar. There is a separate and private roof terrace as well as wood store and large car parking area (3 cars). The interior comprises of a modern kitchen/dining area, large lounge with patio doors and views onto the terrace and pool area, 2 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The village is made up of a collection of villas perched on the mountainside below the Spanish town of Bedar. It hosts a friendly bar and is only 5 minutes from local facilities. The beaches of Mojacar and Vera are a 15 minute drive away. Whilst walking the hills, you may spot some of the local wildlife such as bee eaters or the elusive Iberian Goat (Ibex). The area is peaceful and the views are some of the best in Almeria.  
 
The top terrace includes a large (approx 40m2) covered dining/seating area with wooden table plus 6 chairs, comfy sofa plus hammock! There is also a 6 burner built-in gas barbecue in this area positioned to make the most of the stunning views! The terrace then steps down to the private sunken seating area (with additional wooden table and chairs) as well as the pool and bar area. There is also an outdoor covered bar area to the side of the pool with decking overhanging the pool in one corner. Accessible from the side of the property is the large roof terrace - definitely worth a visit to appreciate the panoramic views. The separate garage will be locked and not for guests use.  
 
The villa is situated approx 10 mins from the popular Valle del Este Golf Resort, an 18 hole course with facilities including: 4* Hotel and spa, driving range, restaurants, bars and shops, amazing outdoor pool, gym, paddle courts and beach club. Desert Springs (Desert course) is approx 15-20 mins from the villa. It is a desert course with quality facilities including; tennis and paddle courts, spa, gym, football and cricket pitches, driving range and various restaurants/bars. The beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains are approx 2.5 hours drive away - perfect for a days skiing if you have the time. 
 
This area of Spain boasts the best climate in the whole of Europe with on average 312 days of sunshine per year. However if you can tear yourself away from the villas private pool and terrace areas there are numerous restaurants and bars to be enjoyed in the area. For the shoppers I would suggest Vera, Garrucha and Mojacar - remember the Spanish siesta can start as early as 1 and finish as late as 5! Basic supermarkets can be found in Bedar, Los Gallardos and Turre, with a larger choice in the larger towns. There are several opportunities for walking in the hills, playing golf in the valleys, swimming in the warm sea or enjoying the more upmarket facilities of the hotels and golf resorts. Tennis courts are plentiful, and most leisure pursuits are available in the area, including horse riding, go-karting, fishing and the popular Aqua Park in Vera Playa. Most people come to El Pinar to enjoy its scenery and the peace and quiet as well as enjoy the stunning walks that are on offer in the hills.

Bedrooms: The master bedroom is a double with en-suite bathroom, complete with bath and shower. The second bedroom is a twin. Both bedrooms are spacious with large fitted wardrobes and shutters. Bathrooms: Both the en-suite and main bathroom have WC, sink and a bath with shower attachment above it. Kitchen: The kitchen is modern, spacious and has been recently refurbished to a high standard. It includes large double sink, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven with a gas hob and breakfast bar. Utility Room: Washing machine. Living Rooms: The lounge has 2 sets of double patio doors leading onto the terrace. There is freeview Sky TV with DVD player, stereo and log burner. The interior dining room has space for 4, with a huge outside dining area for 6 plus. Towels and linen are included. The property is cleaned prior to occupation with a linen change weekly. The pool is also cleaned on a weekly basis.

Mojacar Playa is the nearest and most popular of the beaches in this area. The sandy beach stretches for 9km beneath the ancient village of Mojacar. There are a multitude of bars, restaurants and shops here. Garrucha beach and separate port and marina area hosts a multitude of fish restaurants and charming chiringuitos in summer. Vera Playa is a huge stretch of beach only another 5 minutes further along. The usual water sports are all available during the summer months.

• Travel Info: The village of El Pinar is situated only 5 mins from the picturesque Spanish mountain town of Bedar and 5 minutes from Los Gallardos for basic shopping. The cabrera mountains and Cortijo Grande are 10 mins drive, with the facilities of the town of Turre in the same area. The larger and touristier areas of Mojacar, Garrucha and Vera are all approx 15 mins away and have plenty of facilities as you would expect from small Spanish towns. Car hire is recommended for this villa. El Pinar de Bedar is situated approx 5 mins from the A7 motorway which means it is an easy drive from both Almeria 50 mins and Murcia 70 mins airports. Alicante airport is a 1hr 45 mins drive.
