Vacation Rental Description
The apartment is cool and spacious, nicely furnished and is in a very quiet part of the building away from the nearby bars. We also have English TV for your enjoyment. There are bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk of the apartment. The apartment is on the 5th floor, with no one above so very peaceful. The apartment has 1 double bedroom (with a double sofa bed in the living area) and enjoys joint access to a sauna, Jacuzzi and gym within the building. There is a lift to all floors, a rooftop pool (seasonal) and also parking spaces outside the building.
The bus-stop for the reliable local bus service is outside the building, making access to the Playa easy even if you don’t have a car.The apartment also has a good sized living room with lovely views, well equipped kitchen, bathroom with bath and overhead shower and a nice balcony with table and chairs. The views from the balcony are stunning with views of the Pueblo, mountains and sea. It is fully furnished and has video phone entry for the front external building doors to ensure good standards of security.
Mojacar Playa is literally a 5 minute drive (or bus ride) with lovely beaches, shops and restaurants. Mojacar is well situated for a range of family, sporting and beach activities which are all available nearby. If you want to go a little further afield you could visit historic Lorca (Lorca Castle is a worthwhile visit for the whole family) or Mini-Hollywood (the setting for a number of films) where you can walk round the "village" watch their twice daily shows and also visit their impressive mountain zoo.
Golf is available - several courses are nearby, one is approx 5 mins away by car, also close to the Sierras for skiing (2 hours approx). Almeria is the closest airport - just 55 minutes away. Please note that Murcia airport is under 1.5 hours drive, on a very good road, and that flights are now going to Murcia from Blackpool airport. EasyJet now also fly to Almeria and Alicante(1hr 50 mins) airports - now also flying from Liverpool airport. Regular flights run from the South of England also.
Facilities
One Bedroom with double bed. Sofabed in living room. Hairdryer, air con. Bathroom with bath/shower, wc, bidet. Separate shower facilities on roof with pool, and again in gymnasium/sauna/Jacuzzi area. Included within the kitchen - cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, iron, kettle, toaster. Dining area for 4 people, air con, English TV, video, CD player, double sofabed - books and videos. Balcony with stunning sea and mountain views, table and 4 chairs. Towels and linen are included. No smoking in the apartment please. Smoking on balcony is ok, thank you.
Activities
Available local activities include scuba diving, horseriding, walking, petanque, tennis, watersports, fishing, golf, swimming, bowling, cycling, quad biking, go karting.
