The apartment is situated within 10 minutes walk of Palomares with its village square surrounded with various shops including cafes, Taverners (English and Spanish), supermarket, baker, bank and chemist etc. Palomares is still very Spanish and the people are very friendly. 
 
It also has a lovely beach within a comfortable 20 minutes walk and the fishing village of Villaricos with its small harbour and restaurant. 
 
Just 10 Minutes drive is the port of Garrucha with its working harbour and many fish restaurants serving the freshly caught fish of the local fisherman. 
 
While 5 minutes further on brings you to Mojacar Playa and the ancient Mojacar Pueblo with its wonderful vistas from the viewing terrace that is surrounded by cafes and restaurants. 
 
Palomares is the ideal area for anyone wanting a traditional Spanish holiday, walking eating out, swimming and many other hobbies. 
 
It can be as quiet and easy or as active and fun as you want it to be.
