Welcome to Casa de Colina, (literally translated to “Hill House”). The house, which stands on the mountainside of 'El Mahimo' overlooking the beautiful Spanish town of Velez Rubio in the Andalusian region of Almeria, with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and mountains.

Casa de Colina is a exclusive 5 bedroom house built on three floors. On the main living floor there is a large double through living room with open log fire, dinning room, under stairs cloak room, fully fitted kitchen, three double bedrooms and two bathrooms plus balcony terrace. Two further bedrooms (with Captains beds that can be single or double) and a further bathroom can be found on the top floor. The lower level comprises a large 3 car garage/workshop, utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer and new for 2008 a games room with a seperate w.c and shower room.

Outside there is a private swimming pool, terraces and BBQ area. The ‘Casa’ is set in approximately 2.5 acres of private land. The house is not overlooked at all providing the ideal private get away location.

We have equipped Case De Colina so you can enjoy your holiday in Real Spain but with all the comforts of home.

You will need a car to get to the house and enjoy the benefits of the surrounding area.

Full size single oven, combination oven/grill/microwave, gas 4 ring hob, extractor fan hood, kettle, toaster plus various glasses, crockery & cutlery for 12 place settings, PS/2 + Games, board games and books, Each zone has a large ceiling fan to keep you cool in the hotter months and there is a large open log burning fire in the conversation zone for the chillier nights, The house also has full gas central heating for that Winter break, We have added an iPod dock for your use, terrace, pool & BBQ, Games Room on the lower floor.

Although Casa de Colina is located in the mountains, the coast is only a 40 minute drive away on the all new link roads, where some of the best deserted beaches in Spain can be located. Explore the long sandy beaches of Vera and Garrucha plus the coves of Villa Richos. The picture shows the beach at San Juan. Very child freindly with a number of good resturants and cafes near by spread along the promenade. For the more adventurous, Vera Playa is Spain's largest nudist beach!

In the winter months a 2 hour drive will put you on the Sierra Nevada when you can ski or just take in the outsatndings views, worth a visit in the summer as well.

Less than an hour away is the OASYS Mini Hollywood Theme park. An array of Hollywood westerns have been filmed in the area and Mini Hollywood is a full day experiance. With a full size Zoo, Waterpark and the film sets, with regular shows, it is well worth a visit.
