Fuentecasa is a newly reformed detached bungalow set in the olive growing region of Andalucia.It is located in the village of Fuente del Conde close to the larger village of Iznajar in the south eastern corner of the province of Cordoba. Although it is in Cordoba, the provinces of Malaga and Granada are less than 5 kms away making it an ideal base for exploring all three provinces. 
It is ideal for anyone wishing to combine relaxation with exploring the historical and natural sites of Inland Andalucia. 
Fuente del Conde is close to the largest lake in Andalucia-Iznajar 
It is within an EASY 5 minute walk from the village supermarket and bar/restaurant so buying fresh bread daily isn't a chore nor is popping into the bar for a beer or coffee. 
No matter your level of Spanish, feel as one of the community with your Spanish neighbours. 
Go back 50 years and feel this community spirit when children and property were safe. 
Previous non Spanish speakers have had lessons on olive picking, visiting neighbour's animals and eating freshly picked crops in season.  
Fuentecasa comprises of a large open planned living room /kitchen The double bedroom,twin bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room cater for sleeping arrangements. 
Enjoy alfresco dining in the patio and watch the sun go down from the roof terrace. 
Recent visitors have been pleasantly surprised with both the size and atmosphere. 
 
Being newly reformed,efficient insulation has been a must (unlike my own house). The result of this is that fans can easily cope with the summer heat.Electric radiators,although not as romantic as an open fire nor as time consuming,cope with any chill of winter.

The property is suitable for all ages as there is a cot and high chair available. It is also suitable for anyone who can climb the 4 steps from the road. Internet access is freely available at the owner's house in the village. You can access your Skype account from the owner's phone. Included in the property is a small library. The owner has a large collection of children's books and games which can be borrowed. Free satelite channels are available. As I, the owner, live in the village any problems that may occur can be quickly resolved. The lack of a swimming pool is reflected in the price.Visitors have used the public pool in the next village and highly recommend it. However for small children there is an inflatable paddling pool available. Being fully equiped, along with bed linen and towels provided, any visitors only need to bring clothes. Winter heating is provided by electric radiators.

The area offers the opportunity to visit and use the slopes of Sierra Nevada,birdwatching,walking,horse riding, karting and sampling local dishes in the various bars/restaurants in the area. 
It also provides the ideal base for exploring the historical towns of Sevilla,Cordoba,Granada and Antequera all visited at some time by the Romans and Moors who have left their legacy. 
Visit the natural site of Fuente del Piedra reknown for it's birds, especially flamingos. 
Adopt a donkey at the donkey sanctuary if you are so inclined.  
Visit the ceramic centre in La Rambla. I defy you to leave without buying anything.

				High Season Price:	€330 per Week

I do NOT have a high and low season as I have been held hostage to price hikes during school holidays in the past. 25% deposit will secure the booking.The rest to be paid 30 days before arrival. Any cancellation made prior to 30 days before arrival will NOT be refunded. Any made less than 30 days before arrival will NOT be refunded unless under exceptional circumstances. Any booking made less than 30 days before arrival will be expected to be paid in full at time of booking Payment by Bank Transfer or PayPal. The price is fully inclusive of water,electricity, gas for cooking and water heating and cleaning prior to and after stay. Although I do not ask for a breakages or damage deposit all breakages should be replaced. Minimum stay- 3 nights at 80 euros per night. Longer rental periods are available.
