Pretty renovated woodland cottage located on a small holding, where owners also live close by. Beautiful patio, BBQ, table and four chairs, pleanty of safe walled parking and gardens to wander around.  
Spacious living room with rustic fireplace and beams, comfy sofas, TV, and DVD player, CD/radio, coffee tables. 
Dining area, table and four chairs. Modern kitchen, gas cooker with rustic chimney above, refrigerator with freezer compartment, washing machine and appliances. 
Double bedroom, wardrobe and bedside tables, electric cooling fan. 
Twin bedroom, wardrobe and bedside table, electric cooling fan. 
Bathroom, wet room with radio, wash hand basin, wc, bidet,large mirror, shaving point, towel rail. 
Brand new cildrens cot and wooden high chair.  
Towels included, but not for beach use.  
Bedding changed weekly. 
Disabled access, children and pet friendly. 
Bicycle hire available. 
Beautiful walks and beaches nearby. 
Fresh eggs and organic vegetables available when in season. 
Art tuition available as owners are both professional artists, all equipment supplied.

    • Lavender Cottage has been converted from an old stone stable and the whole place is full of character. Our facilities consist of peaceful relaxation, although bicycle hire is available for woodland rides etc and there are structured walks available, long or short, through stunning scenery for the more energetic. The owners are both artists and can give art tuition to beginners or accomplished artists alike, all paints and canvasses etc can be supplied. Our aim is to help you enjoy your holiday.

    • A short car journey takes you to Foz do Arehlo, a beautiful fresh water lagoon with a variety of water sports. 
    For golfers there are pleanty of courses available locally, Obidos and Golden Eagle. 
    There is a wealth of history close by with a medieval nights templar castle at Obidos and ancient monestry at Alcobaca. 
    Beautiful cliff top walks can be accessd from the cottage, where dinasaur footprints can be found. 
    Sao Martinho bay is just down the road and is very safe for children and boat hire is available, it is very beautiful with pleanty of restaurants and local bars. 
    Salir do Porto, our village, has a fantastic beach and a wonderful traditional BBQ chicken restaurant and good local bars with pool tables and satelite TV, and a few kilometers up the road there is a nightclub.

    To confirm a booking we ask for 50% deposit, (half the total rental price) to be paid by bank transfer. A confirmation email will then be sent when the deposit has been received. Balance is to be payed in cash on arrival. If the booking is cancelled the deposit will be forfeited.
