The beautiful fully furnished first floor apartment is approximately 100kms from Lisbon and easily reached by the motorway. The apartment has it's own entrance and stairway and there is plenty of room in the front for cars. The view from the apartment is lovely. There is a double bedroom, one twin bedded room and a sleeping alcove with a double bed. The bathoom has both a bath and a separate shower cubicle. There is an additional toilet and sink. The large sitting/dining room has satellite TV in both German and English, a DVD player plus a Hi Fi system. There is also broadband connection available. There is a dining table with seating for 6 and a fully fitted kitchen with gas hob and electric oven. In the beautiful fully mature garden there are ample sun loungers, tables, chairs and parasols for your use. There is a natural pool fed by water from our own well. A BBQ and bread oven is available with prior notice to the owners.
The apartment is situated between two very different beaches. 3kms from the lovely calm horseshoe sandy bay of Sao Martinho do Porto and the wild rough seas of Salgado with miles of golden sandy beach. Just out of the front gate wonderful walks are just minutes away and waiting to be discovered. A shepherd drives his flock of sheep to graze in the field next door, serenading them with a "fado" and donkey carts trot pass the front gate.

There is ample parking at the front of the property. Linen is provided and changed weekly. There is internet connection.There is a natural swimming pool in the mature gardens. The pool contains no chemicals and is fed by the property's own well, creating a unique and pleasurable experience. There is a daily market in Sao Martinho selling fresh vegetables, fruits, bread, fish and meat, closed on Monday. 2 minutes walking down the road from the property is a bakery selling freshly baked bread, if one can get up early enough! There are many supermarkets within easy reach.

The natural horshoe bay of Sao Martinho is very safe for bathing. There is a promenade around the bay which has many small cafes and restaurants where one can while away the day drinking wine and eating prawns to watch the world go by. A small children's playground can be found on the dront. There are bicycles for hire down on the sea front and wonderful areas to explore. The surfing beaches of Peniche and Baleal are easily reached. The sailing club of Foz do Alrelho is nearby where one can learn the art of wind surfing, canoeing and other water sports. Serra das Mangues is a great area for hand gliding and there are sites around for this acitivty. The golf courses of Rio Maior "Golden Eagle" is within easy reach as are the courses of Praia del Rey. There is a riding stable is Alfeizerao which is 5 minutes down the road. We are situated within reaach of wonderful historic towns such as Obidos, Alcobaca, Tomar, Sintra
