Vacation Rental Description
The apartment comprises an en-suite bedroom with twin beds, plus a second bedroom with double bed; just outside this room is the family bathroom which features twin basins, w.c., bidet and a Jacuzzi bath.
The good size lounge/dining area includes TV and DVD player, seating for 4/5 around an open fireplace, plus a full size dining table with six chairs. This dining area overlooks the apartment's own patio, just beyond which, is one of the three swimming pools on the complex.
The fully equipped kitchen includes electric oven and combination electric/gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
Sao Martinho do Porto is a one hour drive from Lisbon Airport and the Gilmafacho complex is a ten minute stroll down to the harbour (it's uphill on the way back so will take a little longer!)

There is a large terrace with spectacular views over the Bay and the Atlantic with a table for outside dining.
There is a communal barbeque facility on site, plus lots of grassed space.
Sao Martinho do Porto nestles in a shell-shaped bay ringed by a safe, child-friendly, sandy beach with a varied selection of restaurants, cafes, bars, shops and supermarkets - plus a produce market open every day except Sunday.
Activities
In addition to the three swimming pools, on-site facilities - which are all free and strictly for the use of residents and their guests - include a small gymnasium with treadmill, rowing machine and bike, a tennis court/football pitch, squash court, a games room with pool and table tennis and satellite TV, plus a fun 18-hole 'crazy golf' course.
The award winning Praia del Rey golf course is 25 minutes away, as is the less expensive but excellent Golden
Eagle course. The nearby town of Obidos (15 minutes by car) is a picturesque, walled medieval town, which hosts many festivals and celebrations throughout the year, while Caldas da Rainha, the nearest 'big town' is the same distance away. Foz lagoon, with its surf, water sports, beach bars and restaurants is even closer.
