Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Daily rates can be arranged. Euro equivalent at prevailing exchange rate accepted. There is no specific changeover day, however, we would appreciate your departure by 10:00 hours and your arrival no earlier than 14:00 hours. Minimum 7 nights during peak times. Should this cause you problems, please contact us, to see if we can help. Cleaning and linen is managed locally and charged at 65 euros per change at the end of a stay (please bring beach/pool towels). Returnable 150 euros safety deposit to be paid locally.

Spent 2 fabulous weeks here. The apartment is fantastic - the views take your breath away when you enter for the first time and continue to do so. Very spacious and in very good order - spent ours on the huge terrace watching the sea and life below

Gary is right, this is the best apartment in Sao Martinho. The location cannot be better and the views through the glass-surround lounge are superb. The apartment is immaculate inside but what makes this apartment unique is the huge wrap-around terrace - nowhere better to sit for the sunset

Why We Love Sao Martinho & Our Apartment
My wife and I were born in Zimbabwe but are now based in Kingston upon Thames. I was able to retire early through the sale of my software company but my wife, Suzanne, continues to slave away as a director of a large architectural practice in central London
I lived all of my youth on the border with Mozambique and got to know and like the Portuguese way of life. An opportunity came up a few years ago to purchase a small olive farm in central Portugal. We get about 100 litres of the finest olive oil each November. We decided that a place on the coast would be a good mix. We settled on Sao Martinho because: It is unique on the Silver Coast with its bay and crashing Atlantic on the other side It is only 1 hours drive from Lisbon and central to the other places of interest on the Silver Coast It has a varied selection of restaurants within walking distance It has the most friendly resident Portugal population that help it retain its "pure Portugal" feel
Unique benefits of the property
Our apartment is the best located and best proportioned in Sao Martinho. We purchased it off an eminent Portuguese businessman who stated 'you have the finest apartment that cannot be replicated due to its unique position'. This is absolutely true. Located in the 'royal' area – on the site of an old palace - the penthouse apartment has the top two floors of a small, contained block. The views to the bay are completely uninterrupted. The apartment is large (200sq metres) and uniquely has a 50 square metre surround balcony accessed from the lounge via ceiling to floor sliding doors. The upstairs double bedroom also has a very private 20 square metres sea facing terrace. Clients have said 'one never wants to move from the apartment'.
