A large luxury three bedroom/two bathroom ground floor apartment in a quiet cul-de-sac, part of a small group of apartments close to the 7th fairway, in attractive maintained gardens with large shared pool with shallow end (stepped). Large terrace (accessed from lounge and kitchen) with wooden extending table, 6 chairs and 2 sun loungers, plus an additional 2 sun loungers for use by the pool - the appartment is Southerly facing enjoys sun all day. Located 10 mins walk to Tennis Club (7 courts, with coaching and tournaments), Golf clubhouse (with shop and restaurant & bar), childrens activity center and the 5* Marriot Spa and beach a few minutes further. The Activity Center (behind the Golf clubhouse) runs various activities for children including quads, surfing and paintballing, and also offers bike hire. There is a large driving range and golf lessons are available. 
A full sized all-weather football pitch is in place ready for football related activities. 
This region is noted for it's equestrian facilities, and there are plenty of riding establishments to suit all abilities close by. 
Golf World Magazine has recently voted the course the 13th best in mainland Europe, and it was described as 'No 1 golf course in Portugal' by the Daily Telegraph in January 2007. Praia del Rey opened in 1997 and is a championship par 72 golf course of 6,625 meters (7,095 yards) providing a genuine challenge for golfers of all standards - 4 holes are strung out along the edge of the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic. A further 18 hole course is planned for construction commencing 2008 and a 3rd course nearby is also underway. There are several other golf courses within a reasonable drive. 
Praia d'el Rey is an easy 1 hour drive from Lisbon airport served by all the popular airports. You can also fly into Porto which is about 2.5 hours drive from Praia. Car hire is essential. 
The ancient walled city of Obidos is approximately 10 km from development with its beautiful old churches, interesting shops and surrounding restaurants. Peniche is approx 10 km also and offers shopping, beaches and more restaurants. The small village of Serra d'el Rey is 4 km with restaurants and small supermarket. A major supermarket is a further few km away.
