The apartment is on Portugal's silver coast. It has 3 double Bedrooms one with balcony, 2 Bathrooms, a Large Lounge with a dining area and balcony, a large Kitchen / Dining room with fireplace, and a garage. It is 5 minutes walk to the superb Blue Flag beach, 15 minutes drive to the beautiful fresh water lagoon and a 10 minute drive to the well equipped and well managed seasonal water park. The apartment is backed by the Pinhal de Leiria - the Royal Forest, a vast 700 year old forest planned by the King Dom Dinis over 700 years ago. The village is a quiet location with all the necessary day to day amenities, but only 15 minutes for the new A17 motorway.

Pedrogao is a village on a fantastic expanse of beach on the unspoilt Atlantic Coast, still used by local fishermen to launch boats. It has several bars and restaurants, a superb municipal market selling all the fresh produce you will need to make the self catering experience very rewarding. Pedrogao has a fresh water lagoon just 15 minutes drive away with beaches, nature walks and bathing. Pedrogao is only 12km from the A17 Motorway and nearest town of Monte Redondo which caters for all your other requirements including a vast open air market on the 29th of each month. Above Monte Redondo heading towards Pombal are the beautiful hills and valleys of the Serra do Sico. Leiria the nearest major town is just 25km away in which a Royal castle hangs almost vertically above the old town of cobbled streets, attractive gardens and fine old squares.
