The villa is situated in a little village Olho Marinho. Just a short walk from the house you can find small supermarkets, bars, restaurants, bank, butchers and bakery. Various beaches are a short drive away.

Peniche is only 12mins and this is a well-known seaside resorts. It has a reputation for surf and sand with a harbour where you can find many fish restaurants. Foz Do Arelho and Obidos lagoon is about 25 minutes away with calm, shallow water in the lagoon and surfing waves on the Atlantic. Baleal beach is again stunning with many facilities. The bay of Sao Martinho do Porto is ideal for families with many bars and restaurants.

There are many golf courses within 30 minutes, Praia D'el Rey was voted the best in Portugal is only 15 minutes away. It is simply stunning with the first half winding through the pines and resort, and the back nine skirting the beach and the Atlantic. Golden Eagle a new but fantastic course again about a 20 minute drive, and Campo Real about 45 mins. Further courses are near Lisbon, such as Riba Golf (2 courses), Belas, Penha Longa, Oitavls Golfe and Beloura, among others

Caldas da Rainha, 20 minutes drive, has a large shopping centre with, a daily fruit and vegetable market. The bay of Sao Martinho do Porto has a child friendly beach with shops, restaurants, any many activities. 20 minutes away is the surfing beach of Baleal and the fishing town of Peniche where you can buy the fresh catch of the day. The historical town of Obidos is only 15 minutes drive.

Lisbon airport is an approximate 45 minute drive from the villa.
Porto Airport – 2.5 hour drive.
Faro Airport – 2.5 hour drive.

Bedroom 3 with 2 single beds, wardrobe, dressing table and mirror En-suite bathroom to bedroom 1 with shower, wc, and basin. Ist floor bathroom, jacuzzi bath, overhead shower, wc, wash basin and bidet. Dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, with extractor, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils, cutlery and dinner service. Washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron, wardrobe and cupboard space. Lounge diner, 2 three seater sofa beds, large TV unit with Flat screen TV with cable, DVD player, coffee table, large dinning table with 8 chairs, feature stone wall and 2 patio doors. Large basement/ 4 car garage which includes a 2 person walk in sauna, shower, wc and utility room. All towels and bed linen are included. Maid service once weekly including clean linen. Extra maid service available if required at an additional cost.

The Lagoon Sailing School, is between Praia D'El Rey from Foz do Arelho. The school has all sorts of boats, boards and equipment for hire. For kite surfers the lagoon is an ideal location The Sailing School is run by Isabel who speaks good English - Tel +351 962 568 005. There is a diving company based at the Praia Norte Hotel near Peniche. You can find horse riding in Foz do Arelho and Obidos. Many other water sports are available nearby.

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Discounts for longer lets outside July/August are available upon request. Special Offer: any weeks booked in July/August qualifly for half price for any weeks booked between November and February. Changeover day may be flexible but during high season Saturday is preferred. Arrival usually after 4pm and departure before 10am. The prices are per week. Sleeps up to 8 in 4 double bedrooms. There are 2 additional double sofabeds in the lounge which could accommodate an additional 4 people if required. Please email as a first contact. 10% deposit is required to secure the booking and the balance is payable 6 weeks before departure. A security deposit of £150 is required which is fully refundable.
