A all ground floor villa, located in a small hamlet in a rural area on a hillside, this villa benefits from marvellous countryside views. The property has a comfortable living room, a dining area, french windows to the terrace. The modern kitchen is well equiped and there are three bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room and a further bathroom. Outside the garden has pretty flowers beds, a private swiming pool and a built-in-barbecue, perfect for a alfresco dining. All this in a complete privacy.
Close to historic medieval walled town of Óbidos, one of the most cherished portuguese tourism locations, with it's restaurants, bars and sunday antique fair.
Óbidos is considered to be one of the jewels of Portugal national heritage. It's outstanding architectural beauty is reflected as much in the winding narrow streets, and elegant whitewashed buildings and balconies decorated with flowers as in the ancient churches and the magnificent Moorish castle whose high protective walls encircle the town.
The wonderful Óbidos lagoon stretching in from the atlantic and supporting a great variety of flora and fauna. The coast is unspoilt and truly spectacular with white sand as far the eyes can see. The dune course of Praia del Rey was considered the best in Portugal by Golf World Magazine.
