Bom Sucesso is a large estate that goes down to the sandy beach with the
sea on one side and lagoon waters on the other. Amidst a forest of pine trees are several houses with colourful gardens. At just about 600 m from the coast, this house has a wonderful array of leisure and sightseeing possibilities nearby. It is just 5 kms to the golf course of Praia d’El Rey – set in an unspoilt area of dunes and cliffs overlooking the Atlantic. Also nearby are the lovely medieval walled town of Obidos and the historical fortress town of Peniche with its many sea food restaurants, as it is also an old fishermen’s village. Not far to the North you may visit the 12thC Monastry of Alcobaca (World Heritage Monument) and the 14thC Monastry of Batalha which is quite near Fatima, the very well known pilgrimage centre. To the South, less than an hour’s drive there is Mafra and Sintra,Cascais and Estoril with it’s Casino, and of course Lisbon.
The interior of the house is spacious and stylishly furnished with a lovely and ample living room with open fire place and beautiful bedrooms all with French windows to garden. The garden with a very large lawn is perfect for relaxing, it has a built in barbecue, a terrace with awning, table and chairs, as well as loungers and a hammock.
