This 100 year old luxury village house, is set on a hill above the main street of Foz do Arelho, very near to coffee houses, beach and bars. As this property is set above the village, there is very little noise. It has a large comfortable sitting room with French windows to the covered terrace with lagoon views. In Caldas da Rainha, 12kms away, you will find very good commerce, many supermarkets, hospital, a very wellknown thermal hospital linked to the History of Portugal of the 16thC. At about 12kms there is the medieval walled town of Óbidos, probably the most visited place in the Country and where there are always events to go to. You may also visit the Monastries of Alcobaça, 12thC, and Batalha, 14thC, which are not far from the world wide known pilgrimage centre of Fátima. To the South, Lisbon with so many things to see, Estoril, Cascais and Sintra, are only at about 1 hour's drive. And these are only some of the things you might enjoy to visit !
