Casa do Lago superated in luxury every places where we have been before! It's just fabulous!!!
We already knew the Silver Coast region, but everytime we rediscover it, we found it more and more interesting.
About the Owners we kept the best image and opinion.
Children loved the villa and of course, we are planning to stay there more times.

We stayed in Casa do Lago for a week in August 09. The villa was easily big enough for our family of 4 adults (2 parents & 2 grandparents) and 5 children, and if we'd kept the baby in our room could have accomodated the other set of grandparents too.
The villa was simply stunning and exceeded even our high expectations having viewed the website.
It has extraordinary views over the lagoon and out to the ocean. The infinity pool is fabulous and the gardens look great but better still include a childrens play area, hammocks, outdoor gym, and crazy golf. This was paradise for the kids (3yrs to 14 yrs) who also loved all the toys and games in the villa: bikes, table tennis, table football, frisbees, inflatables, body boards, bikes (helmets even provided), trikes etc... For the adults there with at least 9 sun loungers by the pool, a wine fridge, sun shades on windows that opened and shut with the sun and bikes and gym equipment for the more adventurous.
We used the outdoor bbq and the lady who looks after the house for the owners was able to arrange for people to cook for us one evening without a problem.
The villa was cleaned and linen changed mid week, and the pool regularly cleaned. All the bedrooms were big, en-suite, with floor to ceiling glass door/windows onto the patios or balconies.
Furnishings and equipment in the villa are all as we'd have at home, not the usual 'rental' standard. Touches such as all switches being labelled and a pc provided with broadband made the stay even easier.
The beach in Foz was busy, but a 25 min drive around to the other side of the lagoon and leads to acres of almost empty golden sand, with the added pleasure of looking across at your own villa.
Very happy to recommend!

Enjoyable stay

We are the Brazilian family; Inês and Vinicius, with our 4 children, Eduarda, Lucas, Frederico, Madalena, our 3 grandparents, that stayed in your villa for 2 weeks of July / 2008 and we want to say how much we enjoyed our stay in your house.
It's a millionaires dream place ! In effect the luxury and standards are so high that we must confess it was painful for us to leave the villa to daily outside activities.
The home has everything we may dream to have, in order to relax and enjoy. Pool, gardens, children playground, and so many other items are just fantastic.
Our children found a paradise there; even now they keep speaking about your villa...we will have to return.
The place is tranquil, relaxing, beautiful; in a brief, absolutely superb; we were not expecting so much.
Location is magnificent; within 1 km we could enjoy the natural asset of Obidos Lagoon, a very suitable beach for children and on the opposite side, the village centre.
We so much enjoyed our walks on the beautiful, long deserted beaches...
The nearby mediaeval city of Obidos and the whole region, are so nicely kept in our memories.
The weather was magnificent throughout our stay and we are left with fond rememberings of our family reunion.
Thanks again for your help in making our stay so enjoyable.' Inês and Vinicius from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Our family's best holiday stay

Our family had a great stay at this beautifully kept villa last September. The property sits on a hill, overlooking the beautiful Atlantic ocean. We still talk about the beautiful views, especially the sunsets overlooking the ocean, by the infinite pool. Everything in the property is modern and outstanding.
The restaurants in town offer great meals reasonably priced. Our family enjoyed some of the area trips to the castle of Obidos, the city of Caldas da Rainha with its market, and the beaches of Sao Martinho and Nazare.
This property and location is by far better than any of the properties we have stayed at in the south of Portugal, and the Caribbean.
The kids keep asking "When are we going back dad?"
Thanks,
from Canada

When booking we were a little nervous, but now and comparing prices and quality with other villas we've stayed before, Casa do Lago is the cheapest we've ever found.
The villa is a cinema star dream place.

Our villa is recommended for everybody and in special families with children.
As Silver Coast is a fantastic region ( that we knew very well), we decided to build there our dream property.
After discover the land, we found out the place so charming that we decided immediately to buy it and build there the villa of our dreams. We just wanted the best and we did not spare any efforts to achieve our aims.
The result was a millionaires villa and an architectural master piece completely turned to the luxury relax, the sun and the views.
