This area of the beautiful Silver Coast is unique, being the place where the wild Atlantic Ocean meets the calm of the idyllic lagoon inlet. You will find a host of activities including surfing, kite surfing, wind-surfing, water-skiing, canoeing, fishing and horse riding. Alternatively take a leisurely walk along the expansive lagoon coastline to admire its magnificent wildlife and fantastic sunsets. Just a short stroll to the nearby town of Foz and the beachfront restaurant / bars. 10 mins drive to the main town of Caldas da Rainha and a further 40 mins to the airport at Lisbon. For golfing enthusiasts, there a number of challenging courses in the area, with the world renowned Praia del Rey, just some 30 mins along the coast. Other nearby attractions include the famous Museum of Fatima and the ancient walled town of Obidos.

linen/maid service: The Villa is cleaned and prepared prior to arrival. Towels and bed linen are included. Linen & towel change weekly. Additional cleaning available on request (chargeble). Optional cleaning available on departure.

Villa benefits from full underfloor heating. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and fans. A cot can be provided if required - please request when booking. Air conditioning and dehumidifier units are available on all floors. Outside Private pool of approx 10m x 4m. Extensive BBQ and Pizz oven. Gardens, patio, high quality wooden chairs (12) and tables (2), parasols and sun loungers (8). Bottom lit pool and subtle terrace lighting for memorable evening bbq's, watching the fantastic sun sets over the sea.

Coast/Beach
The beautiful lagoon can be found within 200 metres of the villa. The vast sandy beach easily walkable.
Golf
There are a number of excellent golf courses in the area, as well as the 20 or so around Lisbon. Our recommendations are:
Praia Del Rey (35kms/25 mins) - described as the most stunning golf course in Europe and one of the top courses in Portugal. The course is a combination of links holes and pine forest. A real must. Quinta do Brincal/Golden Eagle (40kms/25mins) - the course has been totally revamped over recent years and is now fabulous. It is a very relaxed course with some stunning holes. Campo Real (50kms/40mins) - new course designed by Donald Steel and opened in May 2005. There are some great views over the hills in the area.
Various water activities and schools are available locally on the beach.
Special interest holidays
This is a great area for walking, with miles of fantastic coastline to explore.

Booking notes A 20% deposit is required with booking. The balance payable 8 weeks before arrival. Our home is beautifully furnished to a very high standard, with many additional facilities provided for your personal usage. We wish to maintain this villa to this 5 star standard for all of our visitors and so we politely request that a £200 (per week) refundable bond is paid with booking.
