This 100 year old luxury village house, is set on a hill above the main street of Foz do Arelho, very near to coffee houses, beach and bars. As this property is set above the village, there is very little noise. It has a large comfortable sitting room with French windows to the covered terrace with lagoon views. The spacious dining room has a large table and the modern, bright kitchen is neat and well equipped. First floor stairs are gated for children's safety. The sloping garden is laid to lawn with flowers, trees and ample space for children to play. There is also a swimming pool for the enjoyment of everybody. The fishing village of Foz do Arelho is a perfect summer resort with its wonderful lagoon, sandy beach and calm waters on one side, perfect for wind surfing, water skying and specially for children and on the other the Atlantic waves - excellent for surfing and body boarding.

In Caldas da Rainha, 12kms away, you will find very good commerce, many supermarkets, hospital, a very wellknown thermal hospital linked to the History of Portugal of the 16thC. At about 12kms there is the medieval walled town of Óbidos, probably the most visited place in the Country and where there are always events to go to. You may also visit the Monastries of Alcobaça, 12thC, and Batalha, 14thC, which are not far from the world wide known pilgrimage centre of Fátima. To the South, Lisbon with so many things to see, Estoril, Cascais and Sintra, are only at about 1 hour's drive. And these are only some of the things you might enjoy to visit !

The fishing village of Foz do Arelho is a perfect summer resort with its wonderful lagoon, sandy beach and calm waters on one side, perfect for wind surfing, water skying and specially for children and on the other the Atlantic waves - excellent for surfing and body boarding. Nearby, at about 15kms, there is the medieval walled town of Obidos, one of the most visited places in Portugal, where there are always special events to see. Not far to the North you may visit the 13thC Monastry of Alcobaca (World Heritage Monument), the 14thC Monastry of Batalha quite near Fatima, the world known pilgrimage centre, and many other touristic places. To the South and at about 1hour’s drive, there is Mafra and Sintra, another World Heritage Town, and also Cascais and Estoril with its Casino, and, of course, Lisbon.

This is the perfect place for a wonderful holiday whether you prefer to only relax on the beach and at home or go and visit many historical or touristic places.

A deposit of 25% of the whole amount will have to be sent by Bank Transfer to confirm the booking, the balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. If a cancelation is made previous to the 8 weeks the deposit will be reimbursed. A deposit of 300€ against damages will be asked for at arrival and reimbursed on departure.
