If you are looking for a peaceful holiday in a traditional and unspoilt resort then this definitely the place for you! This is a beautiful three bedroomed house built on three floors in an exclusive and truly tranquil setting on Portugal's Silver Coast. It is situated in an exclusive but traditional area near Areia Branca, within a small gated condominium comprising just 21 houses with two pools and a floodlit tennis court. The property is set in lovely landscaped grounds has secure underground parking, a large crescent shaped swimming pool with unobstructed panoramic views of the ocean, a safe children's pool, private and shared garden areas, a free floodlit tennis court and private pedestrian access to the cliff path leading to a breathtakingly beautiful beach with white sand and hardly a soul in sight! This house offers something for everyone. If you are looking for absolute peace and tranquility, then book out of season and you may well have the entire place to yourself to sit and gaze at the ocean. All you will hear is the sound of the waves and the odd church bell. In the popular summer weeks, there are usually other families with children around so it's a great place to make friends and socialise.  
 
The house is very well equipped for 6 guests and is beautifully furnished in a contemporary style. There is satellite TV, a library of DVDs and music CDs and a playstation 2 with games. All bedrooms are en-suite with a jacuzzi bath in the master bathroom. Fabulous ocean views from the garden, terrace and bedrooms and miles of virtually empty white sandy beaches stretch in either direction.  
 
This part of Portugal is a surfer's paradise but is still largely undiscovered by holiday makers even though it is just an easy 45 minute drive from Lisbon airport. There are traditional bars and restaurants in the nearby resort of Areia Branca which can be reached in two minutes by car or a longer stroll along the beach. The nearest town is Lourinha which is a five minute drive away and has plenty of shops, three large supermarkets, several restaurants, banks and an indoor food market. Also within a short drive is the beautiful world heritage site of Obidos and the famous lagoon at Foz d'Arelho.

    • On the ground floor the entrance hall has a security video phone, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, electric oven and gas hob, a cloakroom and lounge diner with 32" flat screen TV, DVD player and PlayStation 2. Patio doors lead to the terrace and garden just steps from the swimming pool. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, both en-suite(one with jacuzzi bath, WC, bidet) the other with shower cubicle, WC, bidet). The master bedroom has a balcony overlooking the pool and stunning sea views. On the 2nd floor, a large attic bedroom with two single beds and en-suite with shower, hip bath, & WC plus balcony and amazing sea views. Electric shutters to all windows. Also included are garden furniture, tennis racquets, books, DVDs, CDs, games, BBQ, parasols, body boards, sun beds, inflatables etc. The house also has a glass fronted open fire and full gas central heating. Underground parking.

    • This part of Portugal is world famous for surfing. Surfing lessons and the hire of boards are available at the nearby beaches of Area Branca, Peniche and Baleal. Go-karting track only 5 minutes drive away. A water park is on the outskirts of Peniche (15 minutes drive) and the lagoon near Obidos has a friendly water sports school where you can try your hand at canooing, windsurfing, kite surfing and wake boarding. The museum at Lourinha houses Portugal's largest collection of fossils and is a must for those who are interested in dinosaurs. Fossil hunters will love exploring the cliffs near the property. Lisbon is only 45 minutes away and there is a regular bus service for those who prefer not to drive there. Lisbon is a wonderful city with something for everyone.

    25% deposit is required on booking and balance due 6 weeks before departure. A security deposit of £150 is returnable following satisfactory inspection of the property. Bookings periods are flexible to enable guests to secure best deals on flights. Minimum rent in high-peak season is one week. Bookings may be cancelled at any time in writing but are subject to the following charges: 10 days or less before departure 100% of the rental 10-20 days before departure 75% of the rental 20-30 days before departure 50% of the rental more than 30 days before departure - forfeit the deposit (25%)
