A lovingly restored traditional Madeiran house, joined to a contemporary well appointed annex, offering 14 delightful studio apartments, set in mature gardens and perfectly located, with the old town of Funchal only minutes away 
 
The main lounge, featuring sitting area and card/games tables, a 24 hour Honour Bar and a large flat screen TV, and the cosy dining room (both air conditioned), can be found in the colonial style Old House, both leading onto the large veranda with views of the gardens, town and sea, where all day snacks and afternoon teas are served. 
The 24 hour reception, Sitting Area and Reading Corner with its large flat screen TV and plenty of natural light are in the annex, which is also where you can find the Business Corner offering a computer with internet connection for guests use. 
 
The contemporary design studios are large, and feature double glazed sliding doors with views of the gardens (and partial views through the mature trees of the town and sea from the superior view studios). Each have adjoining twin beds, a dressing table, a large wardrobe, a table and two chairs, a shower room with a large walk-in shower, toilet, bidet and hand basin, a small kitchenette, ideal for preparing breakfast or the odd snack. They all offer air conditioning and heating, a large 66cm flat screen TV with 30 international cable channels, internet access, direct dial telephone, and safe. 
 
The 580 m² of mature gardens feature winding cobbled paths large trees, flower beds a viewpoint with pergola, and a lovely small Madeiran conservatory overlooking the street, ideal for reading or relaxing. 
 
Only 750 metres from Funchal Old Town, where you will find the farmer’s market, the main shopping area and a plentiful selection of restaurants, cafés, bars, and the main bus departure points for the island, and 650 metres from the public swimming pool complex of Barreirinha (tickets available at the Reception Desk), make this the perfect base from which to explore this charming town and the stunning rugged island.

There are a total of 14 Studios The Standard View Stuidos are situated on the ground floor comprising: Entrance hall with large wardrobe with safe. Bedroom with twin beds, bedside tables, dressing table, table with castors, two small easy chais,direct dial telephone, 66cm LCD flat screen TV with 30 cable channels, internet access, air conditioning/heating, double sliding doors with clear protection, with views of the gardens. Shower room comprising toilet, bidet, hand basin and walk-in shower. Kitchenette with worktop, fridge/freezer, 2 hob ceramic cooker, and setting for 4. The Superior View Studios are the same, but situated on the first floor with views of the garden, old town and sea through the mature trees. The Studio Standard Single, is also the same and situated on the ground floor, but only has a single bed. The Studio Single Rear Facing, is smaller and situated on the first floor.,
