Vacation Rental Description
The villa has two large airy bedrooms both with large ensuite bathrooms. Bedroom one, the master with bath / shower is a double, french doors open onto large veranda area with fantastic views of the ocean. Mountain views to the rear. Bedroom two, large twin beds, spacious shower, french doors open onto veranda area. The living room is a beautiful room with three paneled french doors leading out to large patio area with views of garden and sea. The room is bright and airy with sunshine all day an open fire and a well stocked library make this a very comfortable place. A large TV, DVD, and satellite TV for the odd evening in.
The spacious kitchen is fully fitted with large fridge/freezer, coffee maker, toaster, four hob and oven. To the rear of the kitchen there is a laundry area with washing machine, WC and a back door entrance. To the front of the kitchen double french doors open onto patio area with BBQ and out door sink, over looking the garden.
The lawned garden ends at a tiled balconied terrace with a large avocado tree as a natural canopy. The garden boosts flowers and a ray of shrubs.
Garden chairs and table, and two loungers provided.
The villa is situated 5 min drive from Calheta, where you will find a beautiful golden sand beach with crystal waters to swim or sunbath. A lovely marina area surrounded by little bars and an abundance of fine restaurants. Boat trips offer dolphin watching and deep sea fishing. The supermarket has every thing you need.
Funchal city is a 35 min drive and offers you gardens, cable car rides, a daily market of local produce and the famous old town with fantastic restaurants and little court yards. An a ray of shops and old stone buildings line the streets. The harbor dotted with boats and cruisers is picturesque.
The aerport is a 50 min drive from the villa.
Surrounding levada walks are on your doorstep and local villages offer even more restaurants, promenades and sea activities.
The local restaurant also has a well stocked supermarket just across the road.
