Vacation Rental Description
Accommodation Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with twin beds, bathroom with a hydro-massage shower and is in the ground floor with access to the garden.
Bedroom 2 with 2 twin beds, bathroom with jacuzzi.
Bedroom 3 double room, bathroom with normal shower.
2nd/3rd room are on 1st floor.
Bathrooms: Room 1 -with a hydro-massage shower, wc and bidet.
Room 2 - with jacuzzi.
Room 3 - bathroom with normal shower.
Kitchen: Include the main kitchen equipment, cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, cups, plates, cutlery and pans.
Living Rooms: TV, radio, sofa, typical Madeira Chairs
Other: Laundry - You have possibility to wash and iron your own clothes.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: Cleaning and towels changed 3 times in a week.
Sheets changed once a week.
Notes on accommodation
About the heating we have mobile heating and you can put in the place of the house you choose. The house have, also, a system reach fires for your security.

Outside
Outside we have a garden and a place for read a book or relax and catch some sun. Have small barbecue and a place with some vegetables where you can pick and cook. We also have fruit trees (bananas, oranges, passion fruit and strawberries).

Florenças’ house is situated in the southwest of Madeira, in Calheta, within 45 minutes from the Madeira international airport. It is also 10 minutes away from the yellow sandy beach in Calheta and also ten minutes from Paul da Serra.
Facilities
can make walk from the nears levadas: Central Hidroeléctrica da Calheta - Prazeres We have to cover about 14 km, that we esteem to make in 5h. This Levada is in good condition, not existing dangerous zones. Rabaçal / Risco / 25 Fontes Rabaçal / Risco / 25 Fontes The valley of Rabaçal is one of natures greatest exhultations. Descending from the plateau of Paúl da Serra, we arrive at the Rabaçal guesthouse from where we walk to the Risco waterfall. We then descend to the Levada of 25 Fontes and walk along the maintenance path. After a while we reach a small lake at the bottom of a cliff which towers above us, from the cliff face. 25 natural springs cascade into the small lake. Walking back to our vehicles we go through a tunnel which takes the water to the south of the island. Difficulty Grade: 2 - Moderate walk Walking Time: approx. 4 hours Distance: 11 Km
Activities
Aquarium
The Aquarium is placed in Porto Moniz, more necessarily in the Fort of João Baptista, a monument erected in 1730 to give reply to the onslaughts and the attacks perpetrated for the pirates on the local population. Its ruins had been recouped in 1998, and the Fort came back to have its original aspect. But the interior was adapted to accomodate the current Aquarium.
Madeira Story Centre
The Museum: Where History gains Life! Situated in the Old Zone of the Funchal, in front of the Ferry cable, Madeira Story Centre presents complete a panoramic one of 14 million years of History of the Wood. Since the geologic formation of the Archipelago until the present, the visitor explores can see centuries of History of Madeira, and the exposition of authentic historical objectos with resource new equipment. Prices are for the property per night in euros. Extra bed(20 euros). Children: up to 3 years (with cot) free. Reservations The reservation will only be considered definite after the reception of a deposit (25% of the full payment) by bank transfer which should be made promptly after confirmation of availability from Casa Florenças. If the transfer is not made within five days, the reservation will be cancelled. The remaining 75% is to be paid when checking in, by cash, bank card. Cancellations policy Should it be necessary to cancel a reservation, this must be communicated in writing (e-mail or fax) at least 15 days before check in. In these circumstances the deposit will be returned, minus any transfer costs. The entire deposit will be retained by Casa Florenças if the cancellation is made less than 15 days before check in. Others occurring within Casa Florenças during your stay are paid when checking out.
