"Vista Mar" is situated on the South West coast of Madeira in the picturesque village of 'Estreito Da Calheta'. Quiet and peaceful it has stunning views and beautiful levada walks nearby. "Vista Mar" has a large terrace outside that is perfect for replenishing that all important Vitamin D. The view from the terrace is of the sea meeting the sky and this often leads to some spectacular sunsets and sunrises. The weather in Madeira is always warm with low humidity & this is particularly so in 'Estreito Da Calheta'. There are 2 Golden Sand beaches, a Super-Market & various Restaurants & Bars at 'Vila Calheta' which is just six minutes by car. There are other nearby beaches at 'Jardim Do Mar' & 'Paul Do Mar'. The capital of Madeira, 'Funchal', is approximately 35 minutes by car & the Airport of 'Santa Cruz' is approximately 50 minutes drive.

"Vista Mar" Details are:

* Sleeping 4 people, the accommodation of 'Vista Mar' comprises of a Double Bedroom with a Double Bed and lots of storage space. An up to date and nearly new Baby Cot for up to the ages of 0 to 5 years can be supplied if needed. All bed linen and Cot linen is supplied.

* A Bathroom with Shower, Basin, Toilet and Bidet. All towels and face flannels are supplied.

* There is a large Kitchen with a Cooker and hob, Microwave, Refrigerator and Dining area for 4 leading to the outside Sun Terrace. There is always Tea. Coffee, Sugar, Pasta, Rice and Condiments in the cupboards. Also a food parcel is also supplied.

* The comfortable Lounge has a ‘Futon’ Sofa Bed that sleeps 2 (adults or children). There is a T.V. and DVD player, a DVD, Tape and Radio music player and many board games. A selection of film DVD's are always at the Villa.

* Outside is a Utility Room with Sink and Washing Machine.

* There is also the large Sun Terrace with Table and Chairs, perfect for relaxation. The Table and Chairs can be moved and placed on the flat roof if desired. Some amazing Sunsets and Sunrises can be viewed from the Terrace and roof. The property is bordered by a small Banana Plantation and Grape Vineyards.

Beach, Boating, Fishing, Hiking, Night Club, Restaurant, Water Sports and Rental

A 6 minutes drive from "Vista Mar" is 'Vila Calheta'. At 'Vila Calheta' you can swim and relax on the only 2 Golden Sand beaches in Madeira. There are plenty of restaurants and bars there for lunch times, dinner times or what ever time you feel the need to eat or drink. You can also at the restaurant 'Mad-era' rent the services of 'Charlie' and his fishing boat.

There is also swimming, restaurants and bars at 'Jardim Do Mar' and 'Paul Do Mar'.

At nearby 'Arco Da Calheta' you can take to the sky by Para Gliding.

There are of course lots of places of interest to see on the island and if you don't want to drive a Taxi can be arranged.

There are plenty of beautiful 'Lavada' and normal walks with in easy reach of "Vista Mar" or you can just sit back and relax in the sun and enjoy the view while sipping a cool drink and listening to some music.

The property has two themes 'Budget' and 'Away' From It All'.

High Season Price : £250 per Week

View Availability Calendar

The price of Renting "Vista Mar" is £250 Pounds or €370. This price remains the same all year round.

A Deposit of £50 Pounds or €70 per week is required. For English guests a Sterling Cheque is O.K for this. For other European and Non European Guests Bank Transfer details will be given on request after a period of stay has been agreed upon.

The remainder of €300 per week is required on or soon after arrival at 'Vista Mar'.

The minimum stay at "Vista Mar" is 3 days. Guests can arriving on the same day as a previous guest leaves. i.e. "Vista Mar" does same day change over.

There is no extra charge for Cleaning, Electricity, Water or Gas.

Last minute bookings are possible.

The owners live nearby and are happy to help if needed.
