The apartment is also in a walking distance from Garajau beach, with limpid waters and home of one of the most exciting diving spot in Europe.The district of Garajau, originally a sleepy fishing village named after the flocks of terns that used to nest in the area, is now one of the most popular residential district of Funchal. 
 
Situated along the cliffs, with spectacular ocean views south towards the Desertas Islands, Garajau is only 10 minutes from Funchal to the west and from the airport to the east. On a bluff below Garajau you will find a towering statue of Christ with outstretched arms, modelled on the one at Rio de Janeiro - definitely worth a visit to watch the sun set against the backdrop of the Bay of Funchal. 
 
A new cable car descends the steep cliff to the pebble beach, newly built changing rooms and restaurant below. The coastline conservation area at Garajau, one of Europe's first underwater nature reserves, provides a sanctuary for whales, dolphins and seals.

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean the apartment offers 1 large living room, 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, parking area, elevator access, dining area indoor and out. It also offers a large balcony overlooking the gardens; the swimming pool and sea, TV, Video, DVD sound system. From here you can easily reach Funchal.

      High Season Price: €550 per Week
         

    Prices per week: * 4 guests 450 euros all year; 550 euros in August, Easter and Carnival; and 600 euros New Year (26/12 to 03/01) * 6 guests 550 euros all year; 650 euros in August, Easter and Carnival; and 700 euros New Year (26/12 to 03/01) A 50% deposit must accompany all bookings. Final payment is to due 6 weeks before holiday. A refundable deposit of € 200 for damages, breakages, keys and remote controls is required. The price includes electricity and a weekly cleaning service with laundry of towels, bed and household linens provided. Children are welcome! No pets allowed. We will meet you at the apartment on the day of your arrival to give you the keys, show you around the apartment and answer any questions you may have. Similary, we will meet you on the day of check-out to collect the keys and return your security deposit. Accepted Payment methods: transfer
