Vacation Rental Description
This century-old restored house is located at the end of the village and at the end of a dead-end street. From the private garden and every room of the house there is an unobstructed view of the surrounding countryside and sea. In the summer, the sun sets magnificently into the ocean right in front of the house and garden with its BBQ area. There is no traffic or village noise to disturb the peace. The fully equipped kitchen with slate flooring and stone counter top is full of light, as is the living/dining area which has patio doors leading out to the garden. The master bedroom offers a more panoramic view of sea and village from the veranda. There is central heating throughout the house as well as a fireplace in the living room. The nearest beach, Praia d’Adraga, is just a short walk away. From this beach you can follow dinosaur footprints across the cliffs to the next in a series of sandy beaches. Besides surfing and windsurfing facilities there is also horseback riding and tennis nearby.

    • Bedroom 2 with double bed. Bedroom 3 with twin beds. Bedroom 4 with 2 singles. The en suite bathroom to bedroom 1 has bath/shower over, wc and bidet. The 2 other bathrooms have shower and wc. The kitchen has a cooker, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee mill, cooking utensils, dishes and flatware. The living room area has a fireplace, sofas and armchairs. TV with satellite, video, DVD, stereo with CD player and radio. This is a self-catering house with towels, including beach towels and linen supplied.

    • Estoril golf course is a 25 min. drive. 
    The closest beach, Praia d'Adraga is a 10/15 minute walk. 
    The next beach over, Praia Grande, is a long expanse of sandy beach and is a 10 minute drive. There are many beaches close by. 
    Lisbon is about 35 km. Car hire is not essential, but is very convenient. There is a bus service from Almoçageme to Sintra, Cascais and other villages 
    Sintra with its many places of historical interest (it is a World Heritage Site) is a 15 minute drive. Cascais, which is more of a resort town, and has beaches and a marina, is a 25 minute drive. There are many small town and Roman sites in the area
