The Beautiful Quinta Da Luz is an 18th Century refurbished farm house set upon 2 hectares of peaceful Gardens. The guest house has been recently rebuilt, redesigned and refurnished by the present owner who is an interior decorator. Comfort, light and harmony are the keynotes of this spacious modernised two-floor original building. 
 
The living room is spacious, comfortable and full of light, due to the big windows in the room; the large kitchen is fully equipped; and of the kitchen is a private patio with a barbecue. 
 
There are 2 bedrooms, both with two single beds; one of which has an en- suite bathroom. 
 
The villa is situated by the town of Sintra - 12km from Estoril, 15km from Cascais and in just 15 minutes you are in Lisbon.  
 
The spacious house is within a private Quinta, There are many beautiful beaches within 20 to 30 minutes drive. There are also 5 world class golf courses nearby- please enquire for golf packages. We are launching private art classes based on the studio in the grounds of the Quinta, for up to 6 students at a time, 1 week or weekend; guests can be collected from the airport and shown around by arrangement. Please enquire for more details. 
 
This is an ideal base to visit the Lisbon coast and its surroundings. 
 
Quinta da Luz is a beautiful refurbished 18th century converted farm house, with 2 hecteres of beautiful gardens and close access to Cascais, Lisbon and Sintra.  
 
As the Quinta is near to Sintra, and close to an A road, you have a good choice between many beautiful beaches. Along the Sintra coast you have the famous maguito beach, along with many other well known beaches. If you go down to the cascais coast there is also a wide variety, including the world famous Guincho beach, where surfing and bodyboarding are taught by qualified instructors and rentals are avaible at reasonable prices.  
 
The owner of the quinta is an interior decorator and an artist; there is an art studio in the Quinta. We are now launching art classes, for up to 6 students, for up to 1 week. The owner is also willing to help guests with transportation if neccesary.  
 
There is also two friendly dogs in the Quinta belonging to the owner.  
 
The 11 x 5.5 m swimming pool is shared with the owners but rarely used. Satellite TV, BBQ, winter heating, and daily cleaning (1.5h) are also provided. Guests are welcome to purchase the organic fruit and vegitables grown on the farm. And private art classes are now being launched on the grounds.

On the ground floor, we find the living areas. The living room is spacious, comfortable, and boasts an attractive fireplace. The separate dining area sits five comfortably. The large kitchen is fully equipped and has an eating area. The private patio has its own barbecue and garden furniture. On the first floor, there are 2 bedrooms, both with two single beds. One bedroom has an en- suite bathroom, and is so large it can take two additional fold away single beds if required The 11 x 5.5 m swimming pool is shared with the owners but rarely used by them. The pool is deep, so we require that children are under constant surveillance from their parents.

Beaches 
There are many beautiful beaches nearby. Along the Sintra coast you have the famous Magoito and Praia das Macas beaches, along with many others. Down to the Cascais coast there is also a wide variety of beaches, including the world famous Guincho beach, where surfing and bodyboarding are taught by qualified instructors and equipment rental is avaible at reasonable prices.  
Golf Information  
 
The house is situated is fantastic possition as there are 5 world class golf courses within a 10km radius. The closest is just 5 km - please enquire for golf packages. 
 
Bridge 
If you are a bridge player, the owner will be happy to organise a game for you.

• Travel Info: Two hours flight from most European cities and seven from New York, the Quinta is reached by car from Lisbon Airport in 20 minutes. Guests can opt for a car-free holiday; they can be collected from the airport and shown around by arrangement; the nearest Sintra- Lisbon line train station is just 2km from the Quinta, easily accessed by bus. The Cascais-Lisbon line is also accessible by bus; the bus stop is just outside the gates of the Quinta. There is a village shop walking distance, and one of the largest supermarkets is within 3km for larger stocks.
