It is situated on the west coast of Portugal, just north of Lisbon. Praia das Maçãs is only 10-12km from the exquisitely beautiful town of Sintra which boasts amongst it’s major attractions, the Moorish castle and the beautiful Pena Palace along with the fabulous Quinta de Regaleira. Lisbon is a 35-40 mins journey by car, or if you want to be smart and avoid traffic & parking stress you can take the train from Sintra. Cascais is a 15 to 20m drive away. Just 5 minutes walking distance from the property is the summer Lido with its Olympic-sized swimming pool with water slide and children's pool; Across the road is the covered morning market selling everything from fresh fish, vegetables, freshly grilled chicken etc...
