This enchanting, self-catering villa is set in a 16 hectares estate and blends into this beautiful protected area where building is very restricted. It is the last house before Cape Espichel, and privacy is guaranteed by its location and extensive garden. The house is 500m from the sea, which you can see and smell everywhere.  
 
Casa da Noni is located about 6 km from the well known fishermen's town of Sesimbra; it is an excellent choice for lovers of nature, the countryside and the sea. 
 
Although the house and its land are private and isolated, all the amenities of the local village of Azoia with its shops nd restaurants are only 1km away. 
 
The house is all on one floor, entered via a beautiful courtyard with magnificent bougainvillea either side. The living room is bright and spacious, with amazing sea views, decorated in a tasteful traditional style with interesting rural antique pieces. There is a vast seating area for 12 around an inviting fire place. One whole side of the living room fully opens onto the front terrace which becomes its extension. The design gives a perfect feeling of indoor/outdoor living, with the sea always in the background. 
 
The living room connects to the open kitchen area which seats 8 comfortably for cosy breakfasts and meals. The kitchen is fully equipped and even has a traditional wood oven for home cooked bread, pizza, roasts or other dishes. The kitchen has a vaulted ceiling, typical of local country architecture of days gone by. The larger table for 12 can be used inside, or outside for "al fresco" meals. The villa also provides a large barbecue. It has an extensive biological vegetable garden at the back; help yourself to delicious fresh fruit and vegetables or ask Mr Antonio to pick them for you. 
 
To the left of the living room, quite separate along a corridor, the main bedroom suite can be found, also with its vaulted ceiling. The bedroom has its own large bathroom and opens onto a private patio with sea views. 
 
To the right of the living room, the two other bedrooms and bathroom can be found, also spacious with plenty of storage space. 
 
The terrace and patio are ideal spots for lazy afternoons, where you can read or contemplate the panorama on a hammock, rocked by the refreshing sea breeze. The swimming pool is completely private as the closest neighbours are quite a way away. By the pool there is a little pool house with sunbeds, sunshades and other useful equipment inside. 
 
There is safe, shaded, parking for 2 cars in the 16 hectare property, which is fully fenced. There is plenty more parking around the house. 
 
You can walk from the bottom of the garden of the villa through a gate and reach the sandy beach “Praia da Foz”, a 50 minute (3km) stroll through unspoilt scenery; or you can drive and be there in 5/10 minutes!  
 
A few km further is the long sandy beach of Praia do Meco, which stretches out for almost 5km against a backdrop of wooded cliffs. Enjoy a fish meal or relax with a drink and enjoy the sunset and the magnificent spectacle of the sea.  
 
The house is set in a garden of 16 hectares. Its spectacular views of the coast are everchanging with the light. Nature surrounds you and the delicious aromas of wild herbs. Wonderful walks can be taken along the sea shore. 
 
Pick the wild herbs for their aromas and delicious flavours to inspire your meals. Help yourself to the fresh strawberries, other fruit and vegetables from the villa's extensive biological garden, or ask Mr Antonio the property keeper to pick them for you. Mr Antonio lives in the village and is there to help but only speaks Portuguese!

Beaches 
 
"Praia da Foz" is only 3km away; it is a beautiful unspoilt beach with fine sand, surrounded by cliffs with a vast rocky platform used by fishermen. Further away, you can find the beach “Praia das Bicas” which is popular for surfing, and "Praia Rio da Prata". To the north you'll discover the largest and main beach, “Praia do Meco”, with three miles of white sand and beautiful cliffs. 
 
Sesimbra beach is also a short drive away and is very popular, with its famous castle and fortification towering over it. At the foot of the Arrábida mountains you can find various beaches of crystalline water backed by green hills - mostly small coves, with its fine white sand, tranquil waters and special microclimate.  
 
Golf Information  
 
Portugal is a paradise where the golfer can play almost every day of the year. Quinta do Peru Golf is a short drive away and other courses are nearby.

Sesimbra, a short drive away, is a quaint fishing town, famous for its castle, beach and beautiful sea front. Palmela has a towering very well preserved castle. Setubal has excellent fish restaurants by the sea front and a ferry to the nearby resort of Troia. Boat trips are organized to watch the dolphins living in the Sado estuary.
The local white sandy beaches are as close as 5 Km and the Arrabida beach is known to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal. With its calm waters, it's ideal for swimming and snorkeling.
The outdoor swimming pool for private use of guests is reached in the lower part of the private gardens.
The villa is heated in winter and the beautiful fireplace provides additional comfort and atmosphere.
