2 Bedroom Villa in Cascais

Light and elegant apartment across landscaped gardens. 2 swimming pools are exclusive to residents in the private gardens. The apartment is always beautifully cool in the summer and the natural ventilation means there is no need for air conditioning.  
 
The condominium offers security and tranquility with a gate house staffed 24 hours a day and underground parking with direct lift access. 
 
The large living room has seating for seven, a working fireplace and formal dining area, and opens thought door to the large terrace with cozy furniture to rest or enjoy "al Fresco" meals.  
 
Both bedrooms are spacious & have fitted cupboards with ample storage space; one bedroom has its en-suite bathroom. Both bathrooms have a bath with shower attachment. 
 
The modern fully equipped kitchen is decorated with traditional Portugueses hand painted tile panels; there is has a lovely breakfast area; the kitchen is equipped with includes washer, drier, dishwasher and all other modern equipment.

The charming, historic town centre of Cascais is a pleasant 5 minutes stroll, or 2 minutes by local bus or car. There is plenty to visit as well as restaurants, nightlife, cultural events, cinemas with films in English and shopping. 
 
The pleasant sandy beach of Cascais is 10 minutes walking distance. There is a long stretch of beaches all the way to Estoril, all with their individual character. The beaches provide every amenity such as sun beds and parasols, and there are numerous restaurants and cafés on the adjacent promenade.  
 
Cascais is close to the romantic world heritage town of Sintra and half an hour from the centre of Lisbon.

Beaches  
 
You can sample a different beach every day even if you stayed a month! The local beaches within walking distance have quiet waters. Further afield, Guincho beach, world renowned for its beauty and surfing, is six kilometers away. Many other sandy beaches are close by, each with its own individual character. Several beaches less than half an hour’s drive North along the coast are well worth exploring, as are some excellent fish restaurants.  
 
Golf Details  
 
Portugal is a paradise where the golfer can play almost every day of the year. Every course offers new and surprising landscapes, backed up by excellent services and facilities.  
 
There are six courses within an 8 km (5 mile) range, with plenty to offer beginner and advanced players.

The villa is ideally situated in a rural setting, at the foot of the Sintra hills, by the luxurious Penhalonga resort. Beautiful Guincho beach, cosmopolitan Cascais and Estoril are only 6km away. This is an ideal location for nature lovers, being in the Sintra-Cascais protected National Park where building is very restricted. There is good walking, with an abundance of wild flowers, birds and animals. Yet the motorway is only 4km away, making Lisbon, Cascais and Sintra accessible in under 30 minutes.
With a large private swimming pool, beautiful grounds in a 3000m2 private estate, close to the beach and the many attractions of Cascais, Lisbon and Sintra, Quinta de Santo Antonio offers an ideal setting for the perfect holiday. Sintra, a world heritage site with its castle, palaces and gardens set in lush vegetation and enjoying ravishing views is a lovely 15 minute car drive across the mountain.
Locally, there is a huge choice of the latest films in original language with over twenty screens in four local cinema complexes reachable within 10 minutes, as are two attractive shopping centres. The summer brings international festivals; classical music and ballet in Sintra, jazz in Estoril and fireworks in Cascais.
Less far in the other direction is the coastal resort of Cascais, where you will find superb beaches, restaurants, night-life and shopping, as well as a charming old town with rewarding site-seeing.

Lisbon is half an hour away, and with easy access to the motorway system a number of other world class cultural and historic sites make an enjoyable day trip. Lisbon boasts world heritage sites, and a rich cultural, culinary and night life.

The motorway network puts the Knights Templars’ castle and chapels at Tomar and Batalha within an easy day trip, as well as the ancient university town of Coimbra.
