Fantastic 1st floor apartment with 160m2 located in a 1930’s building, in a traditional and very sought after neighborhood in the centre of Lisbon. It has a wonderful position in a quiet street, within walking distance to traditional cafes, restaurants, and one of the main shopping avenues in Lisbon (Avenida de Roma). The park of Campo Grande is 5 minutes away by foot and the main park of Lisbon Park Eduardo VII is 10 minutes by bus or subway, the main square of Rossio is 10 minutes (4 metro stops) away.
It is also extremely well positioned for easy access to public transport (bus, metro and train) and the airport. With two main metro stations and bus lines less than 5 minutes walking distance this apartment is ideal to explore the city, enjoy outings to the beaches or for day trips to nearby towns and countryside.
Entirely refurbished to a very high standard in 2009, the property has the benefit of a large sunny balcony and, exceptional for central Lisbon, it has a mature 400 m2 landscaped garden with plum and lemon trees. During the spring and summer months the guests of the apartment can pick the fruits from the trees for their own consumption. The garden is accessible via the main stairway of the building. The mature trees provide very pleasant areas of shade and privacy. Access to the garden is exclusive for the guests of our apartment.
Ideal for families, couples and groups of friends the apartment has 3 bedrooms and sleeps comfortably six people. Although the apartment is arranged for 6 persons, it is possible for a 7th person to sleep in the fold out sofabed in the living room (surcharge applicable). The apartment includes a top of the line 35m2 eat in kitchen, overlooking the garden, a 40m2 living dining room with French doors to the balcony and a 25m2 master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a 2 person Jacuzzi with a view over the garden. Two further bedrooms share a very well appointed bathroom with power shower and bath and a window to the garden. All the floors are original wood and the bathrooms and kitchen are in white marble and limestone.
The apartment is available fully equipped including bed linen, towels, and all kitchen accessories.
A personalized welcome pack with information on special places off the beaten track including gardens, view points, cafes, and neighborhood restaurants is provided with a welcome fruit basket on arrival.
Pets are welcome, but we will ask you for some information before we give our permission. Also please keep in mind that even with our permission, you are responsible for the good behaviour of your pet and for any damages caused by your pet.
The apartment is strictly non-smoking, but you are welcome to use the terrace or garden for smoking.
