Coast/Beach
The long and wild North Beach is 5 min walking distance through the nature reserve, has waves that can be heard from the house and stretches off into the distance. Sitio village is 5 minute walk and has spectacular views. Nazare is 2 minutes by car and has a very large beach with most facilities. Sao Martino is approx 10km and has a very sheltered beach. Foz do Arelho, Baleal and Peniche are famous for surfing and 20 mins drive.
Golf
Praia d'el Rey approx 30km, Golden Eagle (Quinta do Brincal) and other courses approx 30 minutes. Many courses around Lisbon and further details available upon request.
Travel
Lisbon airport 60 mins, Porto 3 hours. Faro 4 hours. Car is recommended for exploring as there are many places of interest only a short drive away.

Sitio village is on top of a headland and the village square has spectacular views overlooking the dramatic cliffs leading down to the bigger town of Nazare. In addition to the road linking Nazare and Sitio, there is a vernicular railway running down the cliffs from the village square to Nazare
