The cottage is set in the gardens of the owners accommodation, which extend to 2/3 acre and includes a stunning 15m x 6m pool plus an attached children’s pool. There are areas of the pool in shade throughout the day. The garden has a BBQ, Children’s play area and many fruit trees, there is always something to pick whatever time of year you are here. The cottage is detached from the house and fully self contained, whilst still being close if any assistance is required. Parking is within the grounds. 
The cottage has three bedrooms; a double bedroom, with a wardrobe and bedside tables and space for a cot; a twin room with two single beds, hanging space and dressing table with drawers; and the third has bunk beds, wardrobe and drawers. There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge for extra guests or overnight visitors. There are two separate bathrooms, one with bath/shower and a wet room with shower. There is also a washer/dryer in the cottage. 
The main area in the cottage is a large open plan kitchen/dining/lounge with log fire, Satellite TV, & DVD player. The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with everything you might need during your stay. The kitchenware includes plastic bowls/cups for children, and baby bowls are also available on request. There is a dining area and lounge seating for up to 8 people. 
Guests have full use of the BBQ, pool and patio furniture. There are many shaded areas in the garden and around the pool. The garden is gated and fully enclosed. 
There is a range of children’s toys and books available in the cottage, so you won’t need to bring too many along with you. We can also provide children’s toilet seats, high chair and steps if required. 
All linen and towels are included in the rental cost and changed weekly, and Pool towels can be provided. Electric and Gas is included, and firewood in the winter. Preferred change-over day is Saturday (we may be able to accommodate other days at quiet times), with arrival after 3pm and depart by noon.

There is also available a baby package (cot, high chair, toys, stair/door gate (no stairs), play pen. We have toys and books for all ages of children, as well as a sand pit and pirate ship. There is a hair dryer and we can also have all your sun creams/shower gel/shampoo etc. waiting (via AVON)if pre-ordered. There is a very nice cafe/mini market a few minutes walk away, where you will find the locals very friendly. Full use of BBQ, patio and pool furniture.

Scuba Diving for Children is available on site, and adults can have a try-dive or Padi Scuba Review with our on-site Padi Assistant Instructor, in the pool. 
 
Central Portugal has many Historical sites from Knight Templar Castles to Roman Village, including a number of UNSCO World Heritage Sites. 
 
We are a short drive to many River Beaches, where you can enjoy swimming in the River Zezere. 
 
Golega International Horse fair is held in Portugal every Novemeber and our accomodation is within reasonable driving distance.
