ECO Friendly villa built in natural stone with wood features. Beautiful and tranquil countryside yet close to all facilities. Not far from ocean sandy beaches, golf courses (9 hole course at Coimbra), horse riding stables( 5 minutes from house),canoeing, river fishing and swimming,potholing,caving,cycling,sailing (Figuera da Foz marina). Easy access from airports of Lisbon or Porto. 
Well sized, well equipped kitchen with dining for 6 and dishwasher. 2 extra sofa beds in lounge.Free baby cot and highchair. HDMI satellite TV (bring your cable to connect PS2/3). Securly fenced Pool 10m x 4m with large sun terraces. House is all on one level suitable for the elderly and very young. Quinta is located in traditional Portuguese village with local customs of wine making and summer harvest Festivals. Organic farmers market is every Wednesday and Sunday 10 minutes drive from the house. There are historical towns and sites to explore within short drive: Tomar (Knight's Templars city), Coimbra (Portugals Oxford), Fatima(Portugals answer to Lourdes). Country walks are straight from the house. Local information book is provided on your arrival.  
Baby Cot and Highchair are provided free of charge. 
Breakage deposit will be held by clients cheque and refunded within 2 weeks of clients departure from the house.

    • Bedrooms are good sized and comfortably furnished, have fitted wardrobes, beds have very good quality mattresses. En-suite bathrooms. Have outstanding views of valley,olive groves and gardens. BBQ and outdoor alfresco eating area for 6/7 people sitting and garden dining table. Pool is securly fenced and has stepladder at shallow end ( 1 meter deep). Deep end is 1.5 meter deep.Outdoor shower at pool. Sun beds at pool and parasol are provided. 2 Bicycles available to rent at small fee at house. Board games, books, few CDs and DVDs are at house. Dishwasher,washer, iron/ironing board, coffee maker, toaster, lots of pots/pans for someone who loves to cook. House offers all facilities including central heating ( in winter). House keeps cool in hot weather temperatures due to its natural stone walls construction. Parking is at the front of the house on surfaced private patio. Maid service is weekly. Bedlinen and towels are provided free.

    • Ocean sandy beaches and famous Marina at Figuera da Foz are 30 minutes from the house. Coimbra historical university town with variety of shopping centres,fashion boutiques and 10 hole golf course are 25 minutes away. 
    More information on local golf courses are in the housebook at the house. Sanctuary of Fatima, number of Roman ruins and interesting medieval towns are within easy reach. Luso Spa with healing springs and body therapy centres as well as Buccaco Palace casino is one hour away. Horse riding school, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, internet cafe, library, banks and doctors surgery you will find within 10 minutes drive from house. Skiing in winter is possible on Estrela highlands 1.5 hour away. 
    HOW TO GET THERE : Detailed directions to house will be posted to Clients upon confirmed bookings. You can fly in and hire car at airport or get on the frequent fast train from airport to Coimbra and take taxi 20 min drive to house
