Located on the Algarve's western coast between Portimao and Lagos, lies picturesque Alvor, once the Algarve's capital and now home to the Alto Golf and Country Club. This is a premier resort situated within 18 acres of sub tropical, landscaped gardens and 700m from the sandy beach and offering spacious and well equipped apartments.

The 18 hole, Par 72 golf course, was designed by the legendary Sir Henry Cotton and provides low handicap players with a testing game yet plenty of enjoyment for players at average club level.

Guests can relax around the outdoor pool, with a cocktail from The Rum Shack, swim in the indoor pool, work out in the gymnasium, have a quiet game of tennis or simply wander around the beautiful gardens.
