Our superb apartment is situated within the confines of Oasis Parque Country Club, an exclusive development just 2km from the bustling town of Portimao and 5km from the magnificent beaches at Alvor, Vau, and Praia da Rocha. Oasis Parque is approx 140m above sea-level and this provides stunning views to the Monchique hills from one balcony and across the rooftops of Portimao from the other. In fact at night you can see the lights of Lagos one way and of Carvoeiro to the other !
The apartment at Oasis Parque near Alvor has been individually furnished and equipped to a very high standard, as can be seen in the photos. The lounge and dining room form a spacious open plan area leading out onto a terrace balcony, perfect for both sunbathing & al fresco dining. The bedrooms are of a similar size. One has a double bed with en-suite, whilst the other has twin beds and its own separate shower room. A balcony is shared by both bedrooms with views overlooking Portimao. In fact the total apartment area is some 110sqm, plenty of room for the family !
Oasis Parque is an ideal base for a family holiday by the pool or for exploring the region's beaches, towns and villages. And of course dont forget the new racetrack just 20 mins drive away.
The holiday apartment is comfortable, spacious and well equipped for all your holiday needs. From dusk till dawn you can enjoy the outstanding views out over the Monchique hills and outdoor swimming pool. The front balcony offers seating to enjoy the morning sun, and the poolside balcony provides a table and chairs for 'al fresco' dining, with the addition of a sun lounger. The TV has use of a satellite box to give access to UK channels. Tennis racquets/balls are provided.
Oasis Parque Country Club boasts two outdoor swimming pools (one specifically for young children) and a seasonally heated indoor pool with jacuzzi. Two tennis courts lie adjacent to the large outdoor pool and there is a children's play area with swings etc . A family run cafe on site provides a variety of food and drinks, this converts into a restaurant in the evenings. USE OF ALL OF THE FACLITIES IS FREE to apt guests. There is also a table tennis and pool table.
Furthermore, all guests can enjoy a 10% discount at Boavista golf resort, only a 20 min drive away.
There is in on site a cafe/bistro, and a few local restaurants within a few minutes walk, all are truly Portugese and very reasonably priced.

- Travel Info: Once you have arrived at Faro airport, there are a number of methods of getting to your destination of Oasis Parque. These include car, bus, taxi and train.
If you have chosen to hire a car, Oasis Parque is located 45 mins west of Faro. The majority of the journey is dual carriageway and generally fairly quiet all year round. We will provide directions in order to ensure a smooth journey.
On the off chance you are seeking a change from the monotony of driving, then a train journey along the stunning coastine provides you with a chance to see the Algarve's unique flora and flauna first hand. Once arriving at Portimao station it is a simple 5 min taxi to the apartment.
