Outstanding, luxury 4 bedroom villa overlooking the 12th Fairway at the 18 Hole Championship Golf Course at Parque da Floresta. Casa Palmeira is an established villa with mature gardens and orange, guava and lemon trees offering shade from the heat of the day, as well as an unusual green tiled, heated swimming pool. Parque da Floresta offers not only golf, but also tennis courts, football academy, spa, swimming pools, restaurants and golf driving range. The resort is located in the Western Algarve, within easy reach of numerous stunning beaches, timeless fishing villages and unspoilt countryside. It sits between Lagos to the East and Sagres to the West. Further to the West is Cape St Vincent, the most south-westerly point of mainland Europe

Casa Palmeira has air-conditioning in 3 of the 4 bedrooms, and also in the study. We provide an extensive library of books - 1200 at the last count - which you are welcome to use during your visit. We also provide plenty of DVDs for use in the villa, from Disney to Steven Segal, and plenty in-between. There is large sitting room with patio doors onto the upper terrace. The room is equipped with wide screen digital TV, Sky (freeview channels only), with radio, DVD/CD player.We provide an ipod docking station too.Adjacent to the living room is a dining room with table, chairs and sideboards. On the ground floor there is a separate kitchen. The study also has a widescreen TV with freeview. All linen is provided along with bath and pool towels. For all lets of a week or more, there is a mid week clean. For two weekly lets there is a mid term clean and linen change. Further cleaning or towel/linen changes available for an extra charge.

Travel Info: Parque da Floresta is about 1 hour by car from Faro Airport, which is served by many of the major airlines and low cost airlines. If travelling from Lisbon, the road is good - mainly motorway, or there are good rail links to Faro.

We ask for a 30% non-refundable deposit to secure any booking, with the balance due 2 months before arrival.
Pool heating is available as required at the price of £100 per week.
Central heating is available during the colder months at a price of £100 per week. We can also supply logs for the fire at cost.

Relax in Comfort!

My husband, Chris, and I have owned holiday homes for 13 years now, and every year we try to make each one a little bit better. Our family lives near Cupar in Fife, Scotland, near St Andrews. Kinloss Estate has been in the Addison-Scott family for 200 years, and we took it over in 1999. We live in the Mansion House with our 3 children. Alexandra is the oldest, at 20, and she's in her 3rd year at Cambridge University. Jamie is 19 and presently on a gap year, working on voluntary projects in Tanzania in Africa. Ben is 14 and still at school here in Scotland.
We own 2 holiday properties - Garden Cottage on the Estate, and Casa Palmeira in the Algarve in Portugal. They are very different from each other, but we apply the same principles to both. We want our guests to have a clean comfortable and relaxing home in which to enjoy their holiday. We know how important holidays are, and having travelled in many parts of the world ourselves, we think we know what makes a comfortable holiday home. We also try to help our guests as much as possible, and are happy to answer questions that are important to you. We hope you'll come and visit and enjoy our holiday homes.
