A spacious and sunny one bedroom self-catering apartment on the 1st floor (lift access) with spectacular sea views from the large balcony and is ideal for summer holiday rental. It is excellently equipped with high quality furnishings throughout. All visitors will be met by our local management company who will be delighted to deal with any questions you have. They will also be able to deal with any problems you may have during your stay and are on call 24 hours a day. Welcome bottles of red and white wine and water are provided on arrival. St. James development was newly completed in 2006 to a very high standard. The complex is located in the heart of Praia da Luz village and just 5 minutes stroll from the beautiful wide sandy beach

    • The lounge/dining area is spacious and comfortable with two large sofas, large dining table, flat screen TV with all the English free to air channels and terrestrial TV, DVD player. There are sliding patio doors with shutters leading to the balcony which has stunning sea views. Fully fitted kitchen with granite work surfaces, ceramic hob, oven, grill, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, and bar counter facing into the living room. Iron and ironing board provided. There is a choice of spacious king size bed or two large single beds. There is a large double wardrobe with ample drawer space. Hair dryer. Sliding patio doors with shutters leading out to the balcony. The bathroom has a toilet, walk in shower, bidet and marble vanity unit and a heated towel rail.

    • The bustling town of Lagos, with its narrow streets in the old quarter alive with bars and restaurants, is only 3 kilometres away and can be reached easily by local bus or taxi. If you prefer you can walk into Lagos along a cliff path which offers stunning views over the sea. 
    Golf: Local golf courses include Parque de Floresta 15 mins. Boa Vista 5 mins. Palmares 20 mins. Pennina 25 mins. Parque da Floresta is well known for its challenging, hilly course, just west of Luz. Palmares and Pennina have both hosted international golfing events and are just east of Lagos 
    Tennis and Horse Riding: There is an excellent court within walking distance. Social tennis can be enjoyed in the local clubs at Lagos and Burgau. Horse riding facilities for all ages and stages are located within 10 mins drive from the village.  
    Walking: There are many walking groups operating all year round. Walkers can enjoy the beauty of the many coastal paths and the scenery of the local mountains.
