Vacation Rental Description
Luxury 3 bedroom first floor apartment, offering 'home from home' comforts. Main large swimming pool with sun loungers and a 'safe guarded' kiddies pool,is easily seen from the apartment sun terrace. Both pools are heated from 1st April to 31st october. Great location for family relaxing holidays, mini breaks and winter visits. 4km from the historic town of Lagos and a pleasant 10 minute stroll to the Meia Praia beach with beach bars, cafes and restaurants. With a car you can reach all amenities within 5-10 minutes, beach, town, golf and the cosmopolitan Marina de Lagos is 3 mins away offering a selection of bars, bistros, ice cream parlours, newsagents etc. A security video / entrance phone. You will also find an electronic safe for your convenience and peace of mind. Car parking is adjacent to the apartment. This is an ideal family summer holiday location or indeed for 2 families with young children enjoying the space. A quiet location for winter escaped with lovely Algarvian warm climate. Very relaxing, pleasant walks, ideal for golfing enthusiasts.
Accessibility
The apartment is on the 1st floor, reached by a few steps upto the front door. A lift operates to the roof terrace.
Coast/Beach
The western Algarve offers many bays and beaches to explore. A car is recommended but not essential. The long sandy stretch of Meia Praia can be reach by foot 10 minutes. This is a very clean and safe beach. Praia da Luz is small family beach 10 minutes drive and further west you will find Burgau, Salema, Zavial, Martinal - each with cafes and beach bars. All of which are family friendly.
Golf
As part of the Vigia group - please enquire as to special golf concessions at Parque da Floresta apx 25km away. There are many courses which can be reached by car within 5-20 mins, the closest being Palmares and Boavista. Soft spikes are compulsory. We can also help with golf reservations, hire of clubs and trolleys. For golfing groups we can help with adjacent apartments.

Relax with a cocktail or take a drive to the West coast for spectacular surfing beaches and late lunches. Alternatively inland to the mountains of Monchique. Or indeed enjoy a BBQ on your own terrace.
The Algarve offers a variety of sports and family fun theme parks for all ages. Zoo Marine, Slide and Splash and dolphin watching are very popular. Lagos has a vast selection of local small restaurants with their 'dish of the day' and also international restaurants. Local wine is also very good! English speaking representative throughout your stay, for support, local knowledge and assistance. A full information pack of where to go, our favourite restaurants,is in the apartment for you.
Facilities
Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 master double bedroom with en-suite. Bright and sunny. Bedroom 2 with twin beds. Bedroom 3 with twin beds. Each bedroom has ample wardrobe storeage and has pool or garden views. For babies a cot can be hired and made available for you. Twin Bedrooms share a shower bathroom. Kitchen: Well equipped family kitchen with all utensils, electric hob and oven, dish washer, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle etc. Ample working space. Utility Room: A small utility area with iron and ironing board, is ideal for storing suitcases, golf clubs, and toys. Living Rooms: A comfortably furnished lounge, with sofas and dining table seating 6-8 guests. TV with satellite channels, CD/radio, video and DVD player. The outdoor living is extended on to the terrace for BBQ's and 'al fresco' dining.
Activities
Autodromo Internacional do Algarve FIA/FIM approved for Formula 1 & Motorcycle Grand Prix 30 minute drive.
Golf variety of courses, Palmares, Boavista, Parque da Floresta, Penina, Alto. All welcome visitors.
Boat trips. Enjoy a private yacht charter,fabulous coastline and remember to take your camera.
Tennis, archery, lawn bowls, are all available at Parque da Floresta Golf/Leisure resort 20 minutes drive.
Family fun at the popular Zoo Marine or Slide and Splash water park, go-carting, horse riding, cycling. Visit to Lagos zoo.
All enhance this great location for holidays, autumn walks, bird watching, golf and pure relaxation.
Restaurants: Lagos offers a variety of local, international and cosmopolitan restaurants and bars. A full list of restaurant recomendations is within the apartment. Or the cosmopolitan Marina de Lagos offers bars, bistro's, restaurants and coffee shops.
