Modern luxury top floor apartment situated directly on the award winning Marina de Lagos boasting outstanding views across the harbour to the historic old town of Lagos beyond. Spacious open plan lounge/diner with patio doors down two sides leading to front Marina view and side balconies. Fully equipped open plan modern kitchen with patio doors leading out to side balcony overlooking open grassed area with palm trees. Both Cable and Sky Tv available to all rooms. Internet / WIFI access available through Marina HotSpot. Master bedroom with balcony to side and large ensuite bathroom. Twin bedroom with balcony to side. Separate shower room. Sofa bed in lounge for additional guests. All rooms have air conditioning. Conveniently situated within easy walking distance of the town, beach, supermarket, railway and bus stations. The Marina itself is host to numerous cafes, bars and restaurants.

Peacefully located apartment with relaxing views of the yachts/boats of Lagos Marina. Centrally located for town, beaches and golf. Located on the top floor of this 3 storey condominium, reached by stairs. Marina security in operation round the clock for your security. Please be aware this is a non smoking apartment. Internet access is available through the Marina hot spot from the apartment, or in the Marina bars. Pool passes are available for the Marina Club Hotel complex situated next door.

Large balconies along two sides of the apartment to appreciate the fabulous views of the Marina and the old town beyond. A great place for relaxing with a cool drink and watching the comings and goings of the yachts and boats below, people watching, or just watching the sun go down.
The large outdoor swimming pool at the 4 star Marina Club Hotel situated across the gardens is available to our guests free of charge.

Fantastic climate and year round sunshine,the working fishing town of Lagos has something going on all year round. The Old Town with its warren of twisted cobbled streets,hosts restaurants,small local eating places,Jazz clubs, night clubs, bars, cafes, shops blended with the mixture of historical buildings and Moorish architecture. The streets come alive in the evening with buskers and entertainers. Sailing, power boating, surfing, kite surfing, walking, cycling, riding, golf or just a fantastic chilled out beach location,Lagos has it all.Many excursions can be booked on the Marina, sailing, power boating, boat charters, dolphin safaris, big game fishing, grotto trips. For the children, two water parks, Zoomarine and Lagos Zoo. Further afield the Monchique mountains spa town are worth a visit, and the beaches and fishing villages of the west coast all the way to Sagres with its imposing fortress. Once thought to be the end of the world!

Travel Options

Nearest Airport : Faro airport at 75 kilometers distance;
Travel Info: Faro airport is 75km from Lagos, approx 45 min drive by motorway. Taxi and coach transfers are available from the airport to Lagos. Regular trains are also available from Faro itself to Lagos with the train station being located directly behind the Marina and within walking distance of the apartment. Car hire is therefore not necessary as everything is within easy walking distance once you have arrived although a car would provide the opportunity to explore further afield if wished.

Owner Location Comment

Our apartment offers one of the best views in the Marina, we wouldnt swap that for the world, the feeling you get on first arriving and opening those shutters still takes our breath away. The station is walking distance so a car is not really necessary, and supplies are easily picked up from the supermarket, only a 2 min walk away. Town is only a 10 minute stroll over the Marina footbridge and along the cobbled aveneda, and theres always space on the 5km long Meia Praia beach, again only a 10 minute walk. Location, Location, Location!
Working for yourself and from home often means long hours with not a lot of chill out time. We wanted somewhere we could enjoy time and time again within easy reach of the UK and Lagos fits that bill. Someone once told us that after your third visit youll not want to leave.. and its true Lagos certainly gets under your skin! Being able to relax and take it easy, or be as energetic as you like....it;s a place for everyone from couples to families or groups of friends. The location of our apartment couldnt be better, once we arrive theres everything we need and everythings within walking distance so we can just chill out and enjoy our break. Theres no better feeling than sitting on our balcony with a glass of chilled wine watching the yachts berth below.

Easter, Christmas and New Year prices £600.
Changeover day is flexible. The apartment will be available from 14h on arrival and should be vacated by 10h on day of departure. We will try to accommodate any reasonable variations on these timings where possible.
A £100 non returnable deposit is required at the time of booking. Balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival or by arrangement. A security deposit of £100 is required towards the cost of damages/additional cleaning due to mess left/lost keys.... this will be returned within two weeks of departure date upon satisfactory report from the management company. (we have never had a poor report yet)

Thanks for another fantastic New Year in your beautiful apartment, so convenient for beaches, town and restaurants. The view from the balcony is amazing, just made for drinking the local wine in the sunshine. Can't wait to go back. Bryan & Elsie, Dumfriesshire.
Great apartment, fantastic views of the Marina. Ideal location, just a stroll to the beach and into Lagos. This will be our 5th year going to this apartment, that's how much we enjoy it. Stewart & Hazel, Cumbria.

Owners Profile

We live in Scotland where the weather is not known to be great! So love every chance to escape to warmer climes. We love Portugal and the Portuguese people and have made many friends on our visits to Lagos which we now treat as a second home. We work for ourselves building our own designed properties locally and more recently have enjoyed the challenge of building our villa here in Portugal. We love exploring Europe and finding new places, traveling in our motor-home and spending as much time as possible in Lagos. I'd say we work hard and play hard...we both enjoy our outdoor sports, skiing, walking, cycling, horse riding and more recently power boating and sailing (since coming to Lagos).
