Fantastic 9 bedroom farmhouse with heated pool set in private countryside location yet with the historic town of Lagos only 5 mins drive away offering a host of excellent restaurants, shops, bars and entertainment. Many golf courses and beaches within easy reach.
This is a unique property, set in a wonderful location, which has been renovated to a very high standard. It incorporates a traditional yet contemporary Portuguese style. The house contains rustic features such as exposed beamed ceilings with bamboo, log burners, traditional Portuguese tiles, with a Moorish theme throughout. Outside, there is a heated 12 x 5 pool and over 300sq.m of terracing offering a variety of fantastic rural views. There is an extensive orchard with a variety of fruits including, orange, lemon, plum, apricot and pear, as well as mature garden. The main terrace has a large table and seating for 18 people, a BBQ and a Pizza oven, naturally shaded by avocado trees, that provides the perfect setting for an alfresco experience.
Flexible accommodation suitable for several family groups. All rooms have air-conditioning and underfloor heating. Pets are accepted but with prior notice. Babysitting service available.
The Quinta is equipped with brand new pool table, table tennis, table football and dart board.
Please note: Bedroom 9 is accessed directly from Living Room.
Accessibility
The Quinta is a single story property with only a few steps located within, but has not been specifically adapted for wheelchair users.
Coast/Beach
The beach of Meia Praia is a 5 min drive away and stretches for several miles. There are numerous smaller beaches and coves. The area is ideal for surfing.
Golf
Palmares and Boa Vista courses are within a 10 minute drive.
The Championship course at Penina is within a 15 minute drive. There are at least 8 more courses within half an hour.
