Vacation Rental Description
The house has terraces at the front and back, a small garden and enclosed drive. Inside there is a large through lounge,well-equipped kitchen, guest wc,three bedrooms (one with ensuite) and a large main bathroom.A large garage is accessed via flight of stairs from the kitchen and there is also a small wc off the passage leading into the garage. The garage could be used as a play area for children. A terrace from the lounge and kitchen has splendid views of the new road bridge over the River Arade.
The property is furnished to a high standard, with a wood burning fire in the lounge and three sofas (sofa-beds so could accomodate extra guests). Electric blinds are at all the windows and there is an intercom for checking callers. Gates and walls surround the exterior.
A mini supermarket is situated less than 5mins walk from the house but several larger ones are available with a 10min drive.There's an excellent Restaurant less than 5mins walk from the house, a couple of others a little further and plenty to choose from after a short drive to Ferragudo, Carvoeiro, Portimao and others on the coast road.

The kitchen is modern fully equipped with integrated appliances including cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, kettle, filter coffee maker, sandwich maker & toaster, iron & ironing board, table, 4 chairs and TV.
There is furniture on the terrace and a barbecue for use outside.
All the bedrooms have twin single beds which can be made into doubles if required.
The main bathroom has a whirlpool bath/shower over, wc, bidet and two handbasins. A hairdryer is also available.
All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and bedrooms 2 & 3 both have a terrace.

The coast is a short drive away with a selection of lovely beaches. Ferragudo is about 10mins.,a charming typically Portuguese fishing village and along the coast road towards Carvoeiro there's a number of beaches to choose from Praia Angrinha, Praia Grande, Pintadinho, Caneiros and then Carvoeiro which has cafes, restaurants, shops etc.Praia da Rocha ia approx 25 mins drive. Portimao is a buzzing town with its shops, riverside cafes and restaurants. A short drive up the road from the house is Slide and Splash Waterpark and further afield Zoomarine, Aqualand and the Algarve Retail Park. The ancient town of Silves and the Monchique mountains are fairly close by.The Pestana owned golf courses Gramacho, Vale da Pinta & Practice Academy are 10 mins from the house and Silves 15mins.Vale de Milho is a 9 hole course ideal for beginners & improvers. Further away Alto Golf near Alvor, Penina, Morgado, & Salgados.

The property is in an ideal central location to cater for a variety of interests and activities. A short car ride away from the beach, Water Park, golf courses, shops and countryside. Further afield there is a wider selection of beaches, golf courses, Retail Park, Aqualand and Zoo Marine.
Alternatively, relax on the property's terrace, enjoying the sun and the splendid view of the bridge over the River Arade.
