Vacation Rental Description
Quinta da Boa Nova is a beautifully landscaped complex between Sesmarias and Ferragudo in the Lagoa area of the Algarve. The property is a modern, beautifully furnished home in a Mexican style by the owners. The 2 double ensuite bedrooms are on the upper floor. The main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has 2 single beds. Both rooms have ample wardrobe space. Downstairs consists of a spacious lounge with bed settee/dining area with large table and 6 chairs, additional shower room and fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and utility room. The terrace to the front with large circular table & 4 chairs overlooking the Monchique mountains is ideal for evening meals whilst watching the sun setting. The property has mosquito screens, electric shutters and underfloor heating throughout. The rear terrace has a small table & 2 chairs for enjoying the morning sun whilst eating your breakfast. There is a plasma TV, DVD player in the lounge and a stereo unit in the kitchen for your entertainment. We have also several books, games, cds and dvds as well as binoculars and a digital photo frame for your convenience.
The complex currently boasts 2 tennis courts for free use by all guests, a large pool area with separate children's pool, sunloungers and umbrellas. The bar area adjacent to the pool serves restaurant meals. The adjoining restaurant is scheduled for opening by end of 2010. There is ample car parking
There are at least 12 beautiful sandy beaches in the area. The nearest being Caneiros Beach with its fabulous romantic restaurant on stilts overlooking the sea. Major attractions nearby include Aqualand, Slide & Splash and Zoomarine. Both the outstanding Pestana Gramacho and Pinta 18 hole golf courses featuring the David Leadbetter Golf Academy are a 5 minute drive away.The 9 hole Vale de Milho is also within easy reach. In fact the region around Boa Nova is a golfers paradise. There are numerous restaurants in the area and a local mini market for day to day needs. Main supermarkets can be found outside Carvoeiro and Portimao. There are numerous places of interest in the region which are worth while exploring.

The complex owners are currently making plans to enhance the complex facilties---the opening of the resturant, a child's play area, volleyball, boules, flat green bowls and putting green. During the high season they arrange speciality evenings, theme nights.
