2 Bedroom Apartment in Carvoeiro

A lovely two bed, two bathroom apartment located on the highly acclaimed Monte Dourado resort. The apartment enjoys a privileged hill-top position overlooking the Carvoeiro valley and is within strolling distance of the village restaurants, shops and bars, recognised as one of the Algarve’s most up market coastal resorts. The apartment is fully furnished and equipped to a very high standard. There is a good size balcony and a private roof terrace with built in BBQ that has all day sun and overlooks the pools. For your comfort, there is a wood burning stove for use during the cooler autumn and winter months. Guests have the use of five pools on the complex as well as two tennis courts. There is plenty of off road parking at the resort however, there is no need for a car as everything is on your doorstep, including a doctor’s surgery, dentist and chemist. There is a good bus network and taxi service, several golf courses nearby as well as a tennis club, gym and horse riding.  
Two double bedrooms both with large built in wardrobes, bed side tables and chest of draws for additional storage. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and has the luxury of a new King size bed. Bedroom 2 is equipped with 2 good sized single beds.  
Bathrooms: En-suite bathroom to master bedroom with bath/shower, wc, wash sink, bidet, toiletries cupboard and built in hair dryer.  
Bathroom 2 with wc, sink and shower cubicle.  
Kitchen: Everything you would expect in a fully equipped spacious kitchen that can cater for up to 6 people if you are entertaining. Cooker, hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, iron/ironing board.  
Living Rooms: Lounge room tastefully furnished with sofa, two armchairs and coffee table. Dining table and 6 chairs, 32” flat screen TV with Satellite including all BBC and ITV channels. DVD player and hifi with ipod docking station. Patio doors lead out to the balcony  
Other: All rooms have double glazed windows/doors. Both bedrooms have metal shutters for comfort. There is a private roof terrace that has views over the pool. It enjoys all day sun and has a built in table and BBQ for alfresco dining.  
Cleaning/towels/ 
linen/maid service: There is a maid service five days a week for basic cleaning. Towels are changed twice per week and bedlinen once per week. Pool towels are provided.  
The apartment is on the top or first floor. Car parking is near by and close to the front door. Please note that the Monte Dourado resort is situated on a hillside. Its only 5 minutes walk down hill to the village and its good exercise on the way back! There are taxis in the town centre that can take you back which will cost about 3 Euros because it is so close.There are a supply of sun loungers and umbrellas by the pool. 
The balcony and roof terrace overlooks the pool area. 
Outside, there is a normal good sized pool and a separate pool where the kids can play as well. 

The apartment is ideally suited for families. It is ideal for children because due to the close proximity of the apartment to the pool area. Older children (12+) can be viewed in the swimming pool whilst you are having a chilled drink on the balcony! Blue pool/beach towels are provided and can be exchanged for fresh towels via reception for one euro each. Alternatively, you may choose to launder these yourself. The apartment is locally managed so that any problems can be addressed immediately. For your convenience there is a telephone in the apartment which is free for incoming calls but outgoing calls are expensive and an extra cost that you will need to pay before departure. Please note that the apartment is non-smoking.

Carvoeiro is an attractive seaside resort cut with beautiful cliff top walks. A traditional way of life still thrives alongside a modern resort. The main beach is only 5 minutes walk away. There are many beautiful beaches to visit within 3km of Carvoeiro: Praia de Centianes, Praia de Carvalho, Praia de Benagil, Praia de Albandeira and Praia de Marinha which is one of the six Government designated golden beaches in Portugal singled out because of their water purity and beauty. Carvoeiro is an excellent location for golf enthusiasts. There are 2 courses in Carvoeiro, Quinta do Gramacho and Pinta, and there is a 9 hole course on the Vale do Milho estate. Other championship courses are Penina and Palmares which are a 30 minute drive away and Vilamoura 35 minutes drive away. Quinta do Lago and Vale Do Lobo are 40 minutes drive away. The brand new Autodromo Internacional do Algarve is only 20 minutes drive away.

• Travel Info: Carvoeiro is a 45 min drive from Faro airport. Budget airlines e.g. Thomsonfly, Monarch, BMIbaby, Flybe, Easy Jet and Jet2 fly from airports all around the UK with German wings, Hapag Lloyd flying from Germany. Most of these airlines are linked to car hire and transfer facilities though these can easily be booked independently. Car hire is available from Faro airport or within Carvoeiro. It is always advisable to book car hire and transfers in advance. We can give advice on these.
