We are delighted to offer this newly built luxury apartment for holiday rental on a small, prestigious development in the picturesque fishing village of Burgau. It lies 12km from Lagos, an historic & bustling market town and just under an hours drive from Faro Airport. Burgau has quaint white-washed villas set in narrow cobbled streets overlooking a sheltered sandy bay. It hosts a large choice of excellent restaurants offering fresh fish, pizzas, modern and local crusine. There are a couple of late night bars but no nightclubs. Within a short drive, more energetic activites are available such as water sports, sailing, horse riding, clubbing and shopping. Burgau is surrounded by some of the best golf courses in the Algarve; both Boa Vista and Parc Da Floresta are just 10 minutes drive. There is something for everyone in Burgau--a beatiful beach for children and sun worshippers; a network of walks for the rambler; stunning scenery for the artist; and culinary delights for the gourmet.  
 
No smoking policy in the apartment, but you may smoke on the terrace/balcony. We regret that we do not allow pets in the apartment. Discounts on late bookings.

Coast/Beach 
It is only a few minutes walk to the shops, bars and restaurants in Burgau, as well as the lovely sandy beach. There are several very good local restaurants catering for most peoples tastes. For golfers it is only a short drive to numerous very good golf courses. The apartment also has secure underground parking. 
 
Golf 
Boa Vista - 10 minutes. Parc da Floresta - 10 minutes. Palmares - 20 minutes. Penina - 30 minutes. Morgado/Alamos - 30 minutes.

• Travel Info: Faro airport is approx 1hr drive to Burgau (A22 motorway). Car hire recommended. Bus from Faro takes about 1 1/2 hours. Lisbon to Burgau is about 2 3/4 hours drive. Taxis are available locally and buses run to Luz and Lagos. 10 mins drive to Salema village with its lovely fishing boats, sandy beach and good restaurants. 7 mins drive to Praia da Luz and 10 to Lagos with it's marina, night life and beaches. Monchique mountains are only about 40 mins drive.
