Our luxury holiday apartment is situated on the outskirts of the town of Lagos near to the ‘ship fountain’ roundabout.
You will find ample parking by the entrance to the apartment complex. From the entrance lobby take one of the two lifts to the 5th floor where your holiday apartment awaits you.
There is a small entrance hall with coat hooks to hang your unwanted cold weather clothing! Just off the hallway there is a shower room with wash basin, w.c. & shower. You then enter the living/dining room, here you will find a television with satellite channels, a DVD player (bring your favourite movies to watch) a stereo system with CD player, tape deck & radio. When you don’t feel like going out to one of the nearby restaurants there is a dining table & 4 chairs. After your meal sit and relax with a glass of wine or a coffee on the comfortable sofas. From the living room you can access the large modern, fully equipped kitchen. There are ample worktops & cupboards and a small table & chairs to use for your breakfast or a quick cuppa. There is a full oven/grill and hob, microwave oven, toaster & kettle, fridge/freezer, ample crockery & pots & pans.
You can use the washing machine to wash your ‘smalls’ if needed and an iron & ironing board are provided. The balcony is accessed from the kitchen & living room and has views toward the village of Chinicato & the Monchique mountains. From the other side of the living room you will find the two bedrooms & the main bathroom. The smaller bedroom has twin beds, night stand and wardrobes with fitted drawers & a window with a view towards the old town. The main bedroom has a double bed, night stands and fitted wardrobe with drawer space, it also has a very sunny balcony with views to the old town and the sea in the distance. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, a w.c., bidet & basin, there is also an electric shaver point. For your comfort & security all windows are equipped with shutters.
The surrounding area has a few café bars, restaurant & a take away. A laundry, shoe shop, hairdresser, estate agent and the tourist information centre can also be found here. Three large supermarkets (Lidl, Pingo Doce & Plus) are within a 5-10 minute walk, whilst the old town, bus station & marina is about the same distance. From the Avenida about 5 minutes away you can catch the ‘Land Train’ which runs along the Avenida to the beach at Praia Dona Ana and onto Ponte da Piedade before it returns to the marina. You can also catch a bus to the beach at Porto de Mos, spend the day, have lunch at one of the three restaurants before returning home to the apartment.
Meia Praia and its long sandy beach can be reached by bus but you may find a car more convenient. You will find cafes & beach bars scattered along the long curving beach. The closest beach to the town is Praia da Batata which is at the end of the Avenida.
There are two championship golf courses, Boa Vista on the road to Praia da Luz & Palmeiras at Meia Praia, both about a ten minute drive from the apartment.
Lagos is ideally situated for exploring the Western Algarve, either by car, bus or train. There are many little villages to explore and some beautiful beaches to find, the food can be superb, (especially the fish) and the people very friendly.
So for your next holiday make Lagos the place to visit.

Our apartment is opposite the new Municipal Swimming and Sports complex. Two Championship golf courses are with in a 5 minute car ride.

Zoo Marine is about half an hour drive away towards Albufeira. A great day out with dolphin, seals, birds of prey shows. Also a great pool area to cool off. Plenty of places to eat and drink too.
Slide & Splash is a great water park at Lagoa.
