Vacation Rental Description
This brand new luxury ground floor apartment is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday. Beautifully sandwiched between the magnificent Algarve coastline and the majestic Monchique mountain range and close to the quaint, historic fishing village of Alvor. It is stylishly furnished with every convenience catered for. Comprising of a large lounge/dining room, modern kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 double with en-suite and 1 twin). Family bathroom with Jacuzzi bath. The apartment has air conditioning/heating. All rooms lead onto a large private terrace with outside lighting, which has a table, chairs, and sun loungers and access to the beautiful, large shared swimming pool, as well as landscaped communal gardens and BBQs. There are 2 secure underground parking spaces with a lift and video entry system.
There are shops, a mini market, a newsagent, cafes, bars and restaurants, a hairdresser’s and a bakery within and around the complex itself and the prestigious Alto Golf course is only 5 mins away, with many other fine courses within easy reach. Some of the best beaches in the Algarve, such as Praia de Rocha and Praia do Vau are easily accessible.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service:
Apartment is clean on arrival and the towels and bed linen can be changed at a Cost of £45 per week, however we provide a washing machine and cleaning equipment for your convenience
Notes on accommodation
The apartment is ideal for any time of year with air conditioning that also provides heat when required. It is particularly suitable for families with young children with a large secure enclosed terrace, pool view and play area. Cot and high chair available no extra cost(easy buggy and wheelchair access). If you have a large party or want to come away with friends we have neighbours who rent out their apartment too on the same floor, so please ask for details
Accessibility
Although not specifically equipped for disabled people, this ground floor apartment has good wheelchair access, with a ramp up from the street level and a lift up from the car park so no stairs to negotiate. The lounge has an extra wide door and all rooms have easy access to the terrace and pool.
Outside
Large pool surrounded by a lovely grassed area with outside lighting, a shower and sun loungers. Two brick built BBQ's are available for your use with an outside sink. Large private terrace with sun loungers, patio table and chairs.
Coast/Beach
The best beaches of the Algarve are easily accessible. Praia do Vau famed for the Iodine rich healing properties of its waters is a 5 min drive or 20 - 30 min pleasant walk. Alvor beach is also close by and is a beautiful long sandy beach so will never be crowded even in Summer and is life guarded. The famous Praia da Rocha is also nearby, 10 mins by car. All beaches are well maintained, most have beach front restaurants, cafes, toilet facilities, sunbeds/parasols for hire and water sports.
Golf
The Algarve is a golfers paradise and our apartment is ideally situated to take advantage of the best courses. The prestigious Alto Golf and Country Club is a only a 5 minute walk from the doorstep and was the last course to be designed by Sir Henry Cotton. It boasts the longest hole is Europe, the 15th at 660 yards. The Penina Championship course also designed by Sir Henry Cotton is only a 5 min drive away. Other courses nearby are: Quinta do Morgardo, Pestana Golf Resort, Palmares, Boavista Golf, Pinta and Gramacho. All of which are less than 20 mins drive away.
Travel
Faro airport is 45 mins away, daily flights from all over Europe. Car hire not essential, but recommended as there is so much to explore in the Region. Car hire and transfers easily available from airport. We recommend that you book these in advance. For car hire we suggest HolidayAutos.
Distances
Within 5 mins walk are 4 restaurants, 3 cafés, mini market, paper shop and hair salon. The town centre of Alvor is a 30 min walk

Accommodation BEDROOMS: Bedroom 1 has king sized bed and en-suite bathroom, plenty of room for a cot. Bedroom 2 has twin beds. Both rooms have air conditioning/heater, built in wardrobes and patio doors with electric security shutters leading out to the terrace. BATHROOMS: En-suite bathroom to master bedroom with hydro shower, basin and toilet. Hair dryer supplied. Family bathroom with spa bath with shower, toilet and bidet. Both have electric points. Kitchen: Modern and stylish with ample storage. Fully equipped with table and chairs, cooker and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. Patio doors with electric security shutters lead out onto the terrace. Living Rooms: Large and stylish lounge/dining room. Fully equipped with two 3 seater leather sofas, one converts to a double bed, dining table for 6 with leather chairs, air con/heater, TV, DVD, Hi-Fi. Patio

- Travel Info: If you hire a car it takes 45 mins to get to the apartment. We usually use Zit auto when you book with us we send out details directions and a map to you. We advise you to book a car however, there is a bus service that takes you into Alvor town centre every 15 mins. You can get a bus into Faro town from the airport and then a train to Portimao and then a short bus ride to the apartment. Travel from Faro by Train: No direct train to Alvor but you can get the train to Portimão (regional train 4,90€) then a bus to Alvor (1,70 €) Travel from Faro by Bus: No direct bus to Alvor; Get a bus to Portimão (4,50€) then change bus to Alvor (1,70€) Travel from Faro by Taxi: 65€ for a 4 seater Mon-Fri 6am-9pm (78€ outside this time and bank holidays); 82€ or 98€ for a 6 seater depending on time. these are approximate prices. Prices Prices shown are the per week price for the apartment and are in UK ££. Extra days calculated on a pro-rata basis. Discounts available for long lets, please enquire. Changeover day Flexible. Booking notes Available all year round due to the great weather. A deposit of £100 is payable by bank transfer or cheque will secure your booking and the balance is required 8 wks prior to arrival. On payment of the balance a £200 refundable damage deposit which will be returned to you upon your return home after inspection and inventory checks and return of keys. Our English speaking rep will is available throughout your visit for any queries. Note: If all the beds are occupied (including sofa bed)or6 people, there is an additional charge of £25 for the 1st week to cover linen/cleaning charges.Also note that if a mid stay clean/linen change is required then an extra charge of £40 is required, however there is a washing machine and cleaning equipment for your use and convenience.
