Jarco is very conveniently located near the Centre of Vila Nova de Cacela within 5 minutes walking distance of restaruants, shops, bank etc yet set in a lovely quiet traditional portugese environment.
The villa is only 15 minutes walk from the beach at Manta Rota.
Tavira is also only a 11 km drive away. Faro airport is a 35 minute drive away and Spain is only 15 kim away.
Jarco has been built to a very high standard and offers comfortable accommodation including four bedrooms for up to 8 people. The house also has its own private swimming pool, a large sun terrace, shower and barbecue area. It is ideally located just a few minutes drive to Manta Rota & Praia Verdi beaches.
The Villa is within 200 yards of restaurants and cafes in the centre of the town. You can arrive, park up and be in the pool within an hour of leaving the airport. A 15 minute drive will take you to the region's capital town of Tavira with its history, shops & restaurants. The border town of Vila Real de Santa Antonio and Monte Gordo are a similar distance and both worth a visit. Spain is just 5 minutes further and very easy to get to.
If you are a golfer there are 4 fabulous courses nearby and for 2007 the newly opened "Jack Nicklaus" signature golf club course at "Monte Rei" is just 3 kilometers from our villa.
The property comprises of a lounge, dining room, fully fitted kitchen, master en-suite bedroom, three further bedrooms, family bathroom and a shower room. There is also an extensive sun terrace, balconies, pool and barbecue area. The lounge area offers a 32 inch LCD TV, DVD with many UK channels.
Either eat out at the many cafes, bistros or restaurants or use the fully equipped modern kitchen to rustle up a banquet. The kitchen has been equipped with a hob, cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer.
The old towns of Cacela Velha and Castro Marim are near by and well worth a visit. Cacela Velha is a tiny, picturesque village with a fort and a church sitting on a cliff overlooking the lagoon and the sea. You can take nice walks through the countryside and along the lagoon shore of the Ria Formosa (at low tide) between Cacela Velha and nearby Fábrica. If you like gambling, there is a casino in Monte Gordo. Also worth a visit is the beautiful town of Tavira. It is very easy to lose track of time in this lovely old town. You can spend hours strolling the charming cobblestone streets with its many restaurants, shops, bars and terraces to enjoy refreshment in the sun.
